I've got this guy in my class. His name is Mark and he's new to my school this year. He's quiet, well-mannered, and has a good work ethic. I've known him since the start of this school year.

I've been blessed to have him in my class. He's probably the only normal person around.

Anyhow, he's got a brother, grade seven or grade eight, idek. I found out earlier today his name was Jeremy, and let me tell you; he's awesome.

Every time I work at our school concession, which is often, Jeremy would buy stuff. The concession stand is a pretty dull place to be without people like Jeremy.

Jeremy is just so.. awesome. He's my favourite person outside my grade. What's interesting about him is that he reminds me of a good friend of mine. Same hair as my friend had in my memory, same eyes, same smile. The two of them are very alike!

I don't like-like him in the sense that I hold a special fondness for him. He is, however, to my liking. He's cool and I've got absolutely no reason to not like him.

Today, afterschool, he bid his farewell to me.

"Bye, Lucia!" he'd said. I felt guilty, because somehow he knew my name and I only JUST found out his. sweatdrop

Something about the salutation stuck to me like my skin. My brain kept thinking about what a good kid he is. If I ever have a kid, I want him to be like Jeremy. Nice, sincere, considerate.
