The most amazing rollplay ive ever done with anyone:
Ellie looked up from her book, She was a young girl about 22 and she had beautiful long brown hair that seemed to blow in the wind. Her blue eyes seemed to be innocent. She got up and walked over to you and smiled softly. "You must be the new kid eh?" she asked. "Im Ellie, whats your name?"
The new kid didn't change his puzzled face as he heard the charming girl Ellie speak. He raised his hand to show a beaded necklace that has shells and a stunning bull tusk on the end it. He then responded "Oshana Tutak" Then he pointed to himself and strongly bellowed "I'm the son of the "Daring Fog"" "I present you with this Offering of friendship" As his voice he solely forwarded his hand and waited patiently.
She smiled softly slightly puzzled at this strange kid. She reached out and took the necklace and examined it. "Its beautiful Oshana?" she then put it around her neck. "So where do you come from?" she started to walk towards the trunk she was sitting on.
Oshana felt proud and followed behind but at enough distance so she felt safe. He responded with great pride "I come from "Land of Last Shine"" and he added while slowly coming to a stop "I don't hear many stories about travelers, Where do you and your people come from?" As he finished his sentences, Oshana scratched his long bright blond hair in astonishment and confusion
She sat down and gestured to him to sit beside her. "I dont know about anyone else around here but i come from Ireland." She smiled again. "But ive lived here all my life." She looked around at all the trees and the still lake, then sighed softly and looked at her feet.
He walked slowly and sat down but looked worried "You know me now" he smiled but quickly responded "If you feel lost I can happily show you the way, but I can not push you on that path." he hesitated as he looked where she paused at each sight. "It sure is beautiful in a place like this, Almost feels like home doesn't it?" "I only wish I had someone to share this glorious sight with, One who I can see, hear, touch, and feel as beautiful as the world around us, For I am forever learning who I am" As quickly as he finished his words he looked at Ellie and said "You have a friend here now." Then he hugs Ellie as a token of friendship to cheer her up but also let her know that she doesn't have to be alone.
She smiled softly "Yes i agree. and thank you for being a friend." she rose up and started walking towards the lake. "Wanna go for a swim?" she smiled at him. "I found something down there in the lake a while back." At that she put her things down and dived into the lake, making a small ripple on the surface.
Contently he described "I can only do what my heart tells me to, so I am eternally welcome I can do that, but sure I'd love a swim" As he sets the rest of his belongings down next to hers he dives with grace into the water, Not a single splash sounded and a few seconds later he could no longer be seen from above the surface.
She swam towards the bottom of the lake and waited for him to catch up, Once he was there she started to swim into a cave like opening where only the demist light could be seen. Then she swam up and into an air pocket, there she waited for him to surface.
He slowly swam from the opposite direction and tapped her on the shoulder softly to try and not scare her. He then chuckled slightly and nodded so she can continue taking him on this thrilling adventure
She jumped slightly startled and raises and eyes brow at him. She smiled softly and dove back under the water. She swam even further into the cave untill she came to shallow water and walked up the rock. There she stood by a willow tree and rested up against it awaiting him.
After a few seconds Oshana dove out of the water leaping into the air as if he is a dolphin. He lands gallantly on a stone and spots a nice seashell that sparkled Pink and white. He picked it up and wiped all the dirt off. He walked eerily towards her direction and said with great confidence. "This shell shall be a reflection of your heart, The more you put love into life it shall shine brighter." He sits by her and hands her the shell. As he watches her eyes glisten he pours water on the shell to further clean the shell to make it pure.
She smiled softly and giggled. She then put her hair up and fastened the shell to her hair so it would stay and not be broken. Ellie looked at Oshana and asked "you are full of amazing sayings." she then pulled back some of the vines of the willow tree and pointed. "This is what i wanted to show you." It was like a whole other world, there was two suns both setting on either side of the mountain that rose about the field of grass. Birds chirped and sang while some wildlife rustled about. there was a single bench in the middle of all of it made out of smoothed drift wood. "This is my quite place. I wanted to show you so you can come here and enjoy it too" She smiled again and slowly walked threw the vines and into the place. She walked gracefully towards the bench and sat down.
He follows the innocent woman into her place. "This is truly remarkable, for as two suns to ever set upon, one would surely die of suffocation." "The birds are the voice of nature, while the grass is the foundation. The mountain is the home, the wildlife it's people and that bench is the centerpiece." "For you to have sit there must mean you are the beauty that shines through all of Nature's beings" He compiled as he laid down in the grass beside her for he could not have ever disturbed the peace amongst the animals. "Thank you for showing me this place it is beyond my eyes what I see here, I need to hear just to make sure I am not imagining such dreams." He calmly profiled.
She smiled softly at him, On the bench next to her was a small makeshift flute. It was made out of the grass and a few vines and limbs off the trees that grew there. She slowly put it to her lips and began to blow softly. The flute sounded as if it was the wind's song blowing threw the trees and grass. Almost a lullaby it sounded. After a minute or so of playing the flute she then set it back down and whispered. "The wind gives my spirit, the grass gives me courage and the trees give me the strength" after this she looked down at him and smiled again. Looking at him in different light she saw the true innocence that was in him. Ellie undoes her hair and places the shell beside the flute and looked up gazing at the sky. "It will stay like this untill we leave." She spoke softly.
He listened carefully as everything seeped into his mind. It had seemed as if there was nothing to be afraid of in the world and every problem just faded away. As the song ended he deeply commented "That sound is not of the trees or the grass or the wind, but of your life and everything it was put through. Not only did it sing with peace and love but also forgiveness and harmony. Your sound was what makes nature special and that is because it listens." As he hears her final words he looks up to the sky with her and wonders if he can ask if it can stay like this... and as the thought pops into his mind a word slip out "Forever" He then leans back and gets lost into the light fluffy cotton that fills the sky.
She smiled once again and looked down towards him "Are you tired at all? Because i made a small house just on the other side of those willows." she glanced up softly her blue eyes simmering. She pointed towards a group of willow trees not even ten feet from where they where at. "Or we can explore?" she asked then slowly glanced back down towards him.
"I am not tired, and I'd love to explore but as I rest amongst this grass and look up. I feel a stronger bond, One that might hold me back from continuing on. I can try to journey more but my will to do so will probably diminish as I get farther from home..." He says unsure of what he just said. As realizations come to him, he patiently just stares into the woods and then starts crying. After a short while he gets up and turns to look at Ellie "Well we should head out soon if we want to make it back before it's completely dark out" He paces in front as if he will be the protector of the unknown.
She smiled softly. "This place will not get dark as long as we are here." she said again trying to reassure him some. She slowly gets and and stands in his way to stop him, and with no warning gives him a hug turns around takes something out of her pocket and places it in his hand. It was a rock, smooth and soft but with cracks in it like its been shattered a few times. It glowed a soft blue when it touched his skin. She smiled and spoke softly "Something told me to pick this up one day while i was out here." she pointed to the mountain. "A voice called out to me and said id meet someone who might need it." she looked back at Oshana and gazed into his eyes. "It is a moon stone, also known as a worry stone." she looked back at the stone in his hand and continued. "The more you worry the more it seems to crack. and the more you dont worry...well you get the point." She started to walk towards the wooded area opposite of her house, Then stoped and looked back awaiting him.
He felt happy but at the same fact very sad.... As he tried to hide his emotion towards her he said "Thank you for this gift, it is truly remarkable, but as I see these cracks forming I only see more obstacles coming my way. It's not the darkness that worries." Stopped suddenly in mid sentence but he could not say it. He suddenly just flooded with emotion as the stone in his hand started to crumble before him he tucked it away in his pocket. He replied "I mustn't go on for I can not tell what I may do along the way... I might just slow you down." He headed for the house with his eyes full of blue as he slowly walked away from Ellie towards the house. He couldn't have felt so ashamed.
She looked at him worried and confused, she started to walk after him speeding up her pace so she'd walk beside him. She did say a word she just waited untill he decided it was the right time to talk. She brushed aside the willow branches leading to the house and let him walk before her. Inside was a bigger willow tree its vines hung low almost as a wall, the house was a small cottage that was made out of an old tree trunk she found. It had many windows, two rooms a kitchen bathroom and a den. She lead him to and entrance way wand walked him up the wooden stairs to one room. When they got to the top of the stairs she opened the door to a small but cozy room filled with books and odd things she had found. "I know its not much" she said "i usually use this room for storage. but the bed is made and fresh, the bathroom is down the stairs and to the right. Kitchen is to the left after the stairs. and the den is located on the other side of the kitchen." she spoke softly to him. she started down the stairs and abruptly turned around "Oh and one more thing, no electricity but we have candles. there are a few in one of the boxes in there. oh an fell free to help yourself." she smiled one last time and walked into the den where she laid down.
He came out and bowed his head in thanks but as he saw her lay in the den without a bed to sleep on, he couldn't help but feel bad about it, so as she was not looking he grabbed the axe sitting from the front door and headed out. Luckily he didn't need to look far as there was already fallen trees not too far from the house, he sat out there for what seemed like hours and carved planks and made a bed frame. He then shaved off some fleece from a sheep and carefully made it into sheets, a blanket and a soft pillow that he filled with Goose feathers. He peaked into the house to see that she was asleep. He then moved the bed into the Den area in a nice warm spot and lifted her onto the bed. Kissed her on the forehead goodnight and then headed back up to his room where he grabbed a book and started reading for he could not fall asleep.
She awoke slowly looking around as if she wasnt sure where she had been. Slowly she sat up and looked around, still yawning and stretching she didnt realize what she was on untill a few moments later when she jumped up startled and looked around. "Where the...how the..." she rubbed her head in confusion. Slowly and quietly she walked up stairs and peered in. she smiled softly as she saw him sleeping on one of her books. she turned around and went into the kitchen and prepared breakfast for them, She'd gotten bacon from one of the villagers she had saved from the other side of the mountain and eggs from a wild hen. she cooked them up and started brewing morning coffee. she sat at the table waiting for the smell to awake him.
He awoke with a sudden twitch as if the air around him changed. He placed the book he had so pleasantly enjoyed back on the shelf in the same place he took it from and with a great big sniff he had smelt food. What was this delicious smell coming from?, he wondered. As he walked down the stairs and into the kitchen which this smell was forming he saw Ellie just sitting there with the biggest smile on her face. Oshana couldn't help but snicker and compliment her, "Good morning early shining star, what are you smiling so much about?". As he sat down at the table with her he casually looked over and asked "Do you want any help with that?"
Ellie's smile only got bigger and she shook her head. "No thanks its basically done." She got up and placed a few strips of bacon on two plates and eggs on them also. She set a plate in front of him with a fork. and set the other plate on the table. She reached up into the cupboard and grabbed two mugs out which she proceeded to pour coffee in each. Then set the mugs on the table and get milk and sugar out and set that also onto the table. Ellie sat down, Smiling still she looked at him. "So...about the bed...?" she sorta asked a question but it was more like a statement or even utter confusion. "I just want to thank you..." She smiled again and slowly started to eat.
He nodded in grace and thanks and only replied "It seemed you slept well, I could only use the softest wool and feathers for the bed and pillow for thy self-welcome you bring into this gleaming cabin is so honoring I could never truly trade you for that, but the bed was a start of my appreciation that you too should feel well rested." As he looked up his eyes gleamed with sparkles as he knew what was in front of him. He didn't say anything but just smiled and started to eat on the bounty set before him as he said thanks to Earth.
She smiled and thanked him again. "So.." she said softly looking up at him. "What was all yesterday about?" she asked hoping not to strike a nerve with him and have what had happened yesterday happen again. She poured sugar and milk into her coffee and stirred it while looking at him awaiting his response.
He looked up silently and contently confessed "Memories flooded in of how peaceful and worry free my life was before, but as I continued on eventually I was left in the woods with no way of getting back home. My heart had been left and it all started with an opening of something great and spectacular then closed with steel doors never to be opened. The stone just remembered what my heart felt on that day and I couldn't move forward. I was once a weak man, but now I'm a broken one." He busted out in tears. he had never shared this for he was too intent on leaving good memories to provide for her but now he felt he had ruined it. He just sat there with his small head tucked into his arm on the table. It looked as if he had awaken that Young boy within himself that he knew he'd always be for he can always learn from life.
She looked at him concerned, She then slowly got up and walked around the table to where he was sitting. She placed her hand on his shoulder and just waited for him to let his emotions all out. After a few moments she took her hand off his shoulder slowly and walked back around the table. Picking up her plate she looked at him again wishing she could say something to make him feel better. She placed her plate and fork in the sink and sat back down. Ellie put her hair up and removed the necklace he had given her the day before and looked closely at it. "you are such a gentle soul with a rugged past." She spoke softly then put the necklace back around her neck. She sat there for what seemed like an hour just waiting for him to regain his emotions.
He sits up as he can not cry no more. Silently he thought "I need to move forward if I can only leave this memory on the roadside and never come back." As he got up he picked up his plate and mug and took them over to the sink. As the dishes sunk into the depths he pleasantly asked "May I do the dishes please since you have cooked this wonderful meal? He then walked over to Ellie and hugged her and whispered quietly into her ear "Thank you." Then got to work before she had a chance to say no.
"N..." she started to say but was too late, as he started to do the dishes and smiled softly and stood up. She walked into the den and sat down, there she had a type writer and a few sheets of paper. She laid out the paper into the feeding compartment of the type writer and began to type. She thought of everything that had happened so far and decided to write a story about it. It began: "There was a slight wind change that flew threw her hair, Lilly was a short girl about 23 years of age. She had black hair that went down to her waist and a soft complexion. her smile was the best part about her. She looked up to see a young man around her age, confused and slightly broken. She could see it in the way he walked." She proceeded to write about how they met and their journey so far.
The dishes were done and he slowly wiped up the water mess he had made making sure no wood got wet and as he walked into the den he noticed the fire was out, there was no chopped firewood so he grabbed the axe again. He headed out into the wilderness so that she can keep focused on her work.
She smiled softly as he walked out of the house. She started to type again: "He was so amazed by the secret place that it seemed he never wanted to leave." She then wrote up what had happened and also what she had found when she awoke that next morning. She wanted it to be original so she left a few things out and added a few things. Ellie then placed the type writer down and proceeded to get up and stretch. She walked down the hall and out of the front door. Yawning slightly she walked threw the vines of the willow tree. She then looked up at the sky and found that booth suns had gotten closer to each-other. Worried, she walked to the edge of the mountain which took her only a half an hour. Then picked up another flute. This flute was made out of a rock that had been carefully carved and smoothed. She put it to her lips and blew into it softly, the sound was pure and sweet. after a few moments she laid the flute back down and from the ridge of the mountain a figure appeared over the ridge.
The woods brightened around him as he chopped the last of the wood. At the time he didn't think much of it. As he walked into the cabin and near the fireplace he noticed Ellie wasn't there and the typewriter had writing on it but it was too neatly placed. Oshana was worried, Putting the Firewood down next to the Fireplace he rushed out of the cabin and wondered where she went. He thought of all the places he could think of finding her... The bench, woods, inside the willow tree and nothing. He sat down thinking hard. That's when it hit him. The grass gives her courage, the wind her spirit and the trees her strength. Well he had checked the grass and trees but have not checked the air. He rushed through the willow tree and to the top of the mountain. Oshana stopped before he got halfway astonished as Ellie was talking to this figure and as he did not want to intrude he walked slowly back down and sat down at the bench. Knowing she was safe had let all the worries in him wash away. He felt inside his pocket for the stone, it came out but he saw that there was no longer cracks there. Instead a Bright blue shine compassed it's surface and was gleaming to life. He held the stone close to his heart and just laid back to watch the open sky awaiting her return.
She talked to figure and discussed the issue at hand. "Im worried chief, What will happen to your beautiful world once the suns cross paths?" She asked worried, Ellie loved this place and has made it her journey of life. The chief spoke in a language only she understood. She nooded softly and thanked him for his time. Ellie then pulled out another stone and presented it to him. He accepted it and put his hand on her shoulder. She slowly walked back threw the field thinking hard about everything the chief had said. Her face had an unusual gloom to it. She spotted Oshana and put a smile on her face so he didnt think anything was wrong. "Enjoying the sight?" She said as she smiled at him. Her eyes glowed a pure blue.
He almost forgot what time it was as numerous clouds rush by. Then he heard a voice as pure as the one he had though he had known for a long time. He turned ever so slightly and realized it was Ellie coming back as she had spotted him. He simply replied "I can only enjoy sight if there is beauty there to look at, but as I notice everything changing, This world won't be the same..." "Do you feel it too? the winds are stronger and the suns seem to be at battle. Whether it be a physical or just an emotional battle it's coming closer." "What do you think Ellie?" He turned his head again to face her on the grass to show his understandings.
She tried to smile at him after he said this but it was hard. "I just talked to the chief of this land and he feels it too." She slowly sat down on the bench and picked up the seashell he had given her and she placed it near her. "Im afraid that unless we do something... this world may never exists again." she looked back to him. "Once the suns overlap the chief said that evil would soon reek havoc "
He seemed puzzled as if he knew what was wrong but just wanted to be sure. "what kind of evil and what havoc will be caused? I can help turn them away only as long as my heart can beat." Can you tell me what he said exactly?" This time he placed a serious expression on his face to show that he wanted to protect this land or this "place" with his life.
She sighed softly "all he said was that once the suns overlap that the evil that was cast away many years ago will return. He also said they where demon like creatures." she looked away from his gaze. "This is my home, I found it when i was just a little kid." She stood up slowly and started towards to cabin.
Oshana knew what she was feeling as his home too had been stripped away and everything he had loved perished. But he still had no way to make it feel any less tragic. He quickly walked in front of her and hugged her softly, Oshana then kissed her on the top of the head as whispered "You're going to be okay, I will not let these demons break you apart from your home as long as I breathe". Slowly he let go of the hug and looked into her eyes with such determination then he shook his head and walked to the cabin. where he prepared for the worst but set out to do his best.
She didnt know how to feel. She wanted to cry but she hated crying in front of people. She made her way up to the room and started shuffling boxes around. She knew she had something around there to help with this war that was going to happen. After a few minutes she sat down on the bed and sighed. 'now where did that go' she thought out-loud to herself. Then she remembered it was hidden. She went downstairs and grabbed the axe. As she walked up the stairs again she remembered what the chief had said to her that first day. 'The key to the land is in the cabin. it is hidden untill the day we need it most.' she bent down and started hacking at the floor untill there was a hole. Ellie then got out a candle and some matches and lit it. She carefully climbed down the hole and looked around. It was damp and strange. There was a doorway she had only seen in her dreams leading to some stairs. She took a deep breath and slowly walked down the damp stairs.
Oshana had gotten everything he needed but now it was time to set it up. He started building traps alongside every known entry to and from this world. Also built forts and walls from the cabin out. If anything was to get past he wanted a firm security that she can still run away without being followed. He found steel bars and he carved barb wire out of them to keep the demons at bay. Finally he went inside to grab the axe he used to chop wood but noticed it was missing from the doorway. He searched the cabin for it and found it near the bedroom upstairs and he saw the hole in the floor. What was it doing there? Has that just happened? He thought to himself. As time grew closer he decided to walk in, but this time he did not take a light for whatever was down there hopefully if he had no light then it could not see him as he walked further down the passage.
The passage came to a room filled with the stench of death. She plugged her nose and tried not to breath. Slowly she walked into the room and started towards a podium that was in the middle of the room. She slowly stepped down and felt the floor shift under her feet. The ground gave way and she fell, She screamed loudly as she clung to the side of the floor dangling into a bottomless pit. Her candle fell down and she watched it go down untill she could not see the glow of its flame. "Oshana! help me please" she tried to scream but it only came as a whisper. Panicking she started to sweat. Trying to climb up, the floor just seemed to fall away from her grasp, Ellie's grip started to fail her.
Startled at a girls scream that seemed so far away, He rushed to the source and found a huge hole but he could not see any figure. He desperately tried to find a light source and stepped on a torch it was burnt out but still had some ashes. He striked it hard against the stone wall creating a spark and filled the room with light. Looking down Oshana saw Ellie clinging to the holes only ledge. He hastily reached out his hand and grabbed around Eliie's small arm. He tried to pull up but it seemed as if something was dragging her away. He used the torch and slowly lowered it towards her legs. An Sinister Creature one unlike he has ever seen was smiling has he tightened his grip Oshana grabbed a rock that had fallen from the stone pillars and hit him with it. As he loosened his grip just enough he was able to pull Ellie up and onto solid ground. Oshana motioned her to grab his hand and lead her back up out of the hole that was made. I grabbed the axe and prepared for whatever was waiting for us in the darkness. I then asked "why were you down there???" "what did that creature want?" Almost screamed as if he was terrified.
Ellie could not speak at all. She was trembling too much. All she could say was "Key" Her breathing eventually slowed to a normal pace. "I...I don't know, all i know is that what ever is in the middle of that room is the key to this war." she looked into his eyes and softly smiled. "I have to go back there" she started walking back to the room and into the hole. "I have to get to the podium." she mumbled to herself. she walked back down the hallway and back into the room. 'The hole didnt seem to be that big' she thought to herself. she found a slim pathways along the wall that lead to the other side of the room and closer to the podium. She then leaped into the middle of the room and clung onto the statue hoping the floor wouldnt fall out from under her. Nothing happened. She picked up a small chain and headed back threw the hallway and up to the room.
Before He could stop her she disappeared into the darkness before knowing what was happening. Oshana thought to himself "I have to go back in there, If she falls again I have to protect her". Before he could enter through again though Ellie came strolling back through safe and sound with a chain in her hand. As relief spread across his face he hugged her then asked "So that is what you believe is the key, What do you think it does?" As he questioned her he stood still on guard to whatever there was out there.
"Yes" she handed him the chain, it had a small gemstone on it. "Tomorrow i must give it to the chief." she walked slowly down stairs and into the den where she sat on her bed. "Oh and he wanted to meet you. I didnt even say you where here when he asked about the poor soul that had wandered into our land. I told him a little bit about you." she smiled softly and shivered. "He speaks in a diffrent tongue then us, but he does know our tongue."
"Tomorrow?" He questioned with fear. I don't think we have the time to wait but if you insist I will keep guard" he paused for a moment and thought to himself. "Poor soul??? I know I hurt and I won't be able to ever get the memories back but I do not want people to think I'm any different then them." He suddenly felt the urge to do something. He went upstairs and fixed the hole that was made so that the cabin was fixed. Then he headed down with the axe and sat down next to her bed where he stood watch if enemies came by. Oshana politely asked "So the chief wanted to meet me? What makes such a noble gentleman and warrior like himself see in me?" As he wondered he faced all possible entryways to be alert at all times.
"I do not know why Oshana." she said calmly. "You can sleep if you wish." she laid down and closed her eyes. "This cabin is protected by the chief himself." And with that she sighed deeply and drifted off to sleep
As with that last comment he felt safe but still he needed to protect her at costs not even she knew. "If only she knew why." he wondered at the possibilities. He looked back and saw that she was in deep sleep imagining anything in the world right now. He faced back and made a word that he would stay there by Ellie's side.
A few hours later he heard noises and it seemed as if a faint whining was heard. He quickly but softly got up so that Ellie would not be disturbed. This is what he had feared, that even with the chief's help that the cabin would not be protected in the end. What went on for nearly an hour faint cries roared on, then it suddenly stopped. My ears shot up and listened closely, while my eyes twitched around simultaneously awaiting a sudden movement. "Nothing" He thought as he carefully sat down to ease his senses. Out of nowhere "BANG!" a huge slam of wood hit the floor that sounded like it came from upstairs. He thought hard on whether to keep his position or go after what was up there. Desperately Oshana did not want to wake Ellie so he decided to go up there and check out the surroundings. Tiptoeing up the stairs he patiently awaited another crash. He imagined a creature like he saw earlier that night jump at him. Slowly he came to the top and saw that a bookcase had been knocked over but it didn't seem like anything broken into the home. Even the hole was still sealed. As he sat there examining possibilities, He heard a scream. "NO!" He screamed as he rushed downstairs. Only disbelief spread over his eyes as he could no longer see the bed, the pillow, not even the floor or rug in where the girl Ellie slept silently. He pounded the floor and threw the axe into the wall. She was no longer there!
She awoke suddenly, Ellie jumped up and out of the bed. She could have sworn she had heard Oshana scream but saw nothing. It was pitch black and this scared her. She stood on her bed like a frightened little child. She tired to close her eyes, she held the necklace he had given her close to her and tried imagine she was back in the cabin with Oshana but even that didn't work. Ellie took a deep breath and opened her eyes once more, but instead of darkness she saw a faint glow. not knowing what it was she looked down and noticed the stunning bull tusk on the necklace was glowing bright. Slightly relived she stepped off the bed and wandered into the darkness. She was there for what seemed like ages and she came upon a stump. She knew where she was but before she could do anything a little girl about 7 appeared. She was crying, Ellie wanted to rush over to her and to to calm her but as soon as she tried to put her hand on the little girl she diapered. 'Is this my past?' she thought out-loud to herself. at that she was in her cabin again. She ran into the den to see if he was there but no one was there. She heard a knock on the door and went to see who it was. If was the chief. "Im so glad to see you" she said to him excitedly but he seemed to not see her. she went and sat down in the grass, she started to softly cry and held the necklace even closer to her. 'This is just my past, why am i here...? I just want to go home.' she softly said withing her tears.
Oshana pushes his way through the door goes up to the mountain where he has saw the chief once before with Ellie. He saw that the suns we getting closer ever so quickly. He looked around everywhere looking for a way to see him, Called his name to come out but nothing. He bent down on his knees sobbing. Worthless, shameful and unworthy of protecting her the one he loved. He thought of the moments he had together with her, the unconditional smile she had on her face. It pained him. A roll of tears came down his face as he let out a scream once more. "ELLLLLLLLIIIIEEEEEE!!!!!" The only thing that made him stop was a flute that reminded him of her. He picked up the stone flute that was so carefully made. He tried playing that flute as sweetly as the flute back at the bench. Suddenly the chief appeared out of nowhere badly injured but with a surprised look on his face when he saw Oshana instead of Ellie. The young man asked desperately who these people were and how he could possible find Ellie. All the Chief said was "Follow your heart and stay on the path, If you were meant to find her it will be." Oshana then asked the wise elder "Why is it your hurt? Are you combined with this world?" The Chief did not answer but instead wished him luck and disappeared. Oshana now knew what had to be done, He was going to combine all the essences of Ellie's personality and it was going to show him the way to her. He combined the puffy cloud with the ice of the top of the mountain for her spirit with the glass blades for courage and wrapped it all up with the leaves and bark of a tree. Carved a Tiny hole in the top and ran Vines through it and tied it on the end. He added Shells, the very ink from her typewriter and some feathers from the goose he plucked to make her the pillow. He wrote on the shells that outlines the necklace with the ink "SEARCHING UNTIL FOUND!" As he finished that line he added the stone she had given him that shined so Blue the night before. Now it was a deep color of a Sunstone and it gleamed ever so brightly. He first set out back into the darkness corridor of where she found the chain on the Podium. He felt determined as ever.
She sobbed quietly to herself. No one was there and it seemed as if she would be alone once again. She slowly got up, almost unable to stand up tall she begain her walk towards the mountain where she had met the chief the very first time. As she approached the mountains edge she looked down softly and sighed. She took a rock and kissed it softly, trying to remember who she once was. the rock then began to form into a smoothed flute she had hidden on the mountains side. Ellie smiled softly but her heart ached even more, She put the flute to her lips and gently blew into it making the sweet sound she missed. and then the chief appeared to her. She turned away thinking it being only her past. "Where are you going my child?" the chief asked her. not thinking Ellie replied, "i do not know. It feels as if im lost in my own world." "Your not lost tho" he said as he laughed softly. Ellie then relized that it wasnt her past, it was indeed the chief. She was so happy that she turned around and gave him a big hug. "Oshana is looking for you." he said wile she hugged him. "you must go back to where it all began to find each-other once more." She nodded and understood what he meant. She bowed to him and left, She ran threw the grass and past the bench then stopped suddenly and looked closer at the bench. there sitting by the flute was the seashell he had given her. she smiled softly and picked it up and walked threw the willow vines and walked slowly down the rock and dived into the water.
There it was the podium it had still been there. but no longer a chain was there instead it was replaced with sand. As if someone had just dumped it there. He was puzzled for he was underground then his necklace that he had made shined brighter as if he was closer to her. He questioned the necklace "But How??? I am in this dark passage and I know she is not down here how am I near her?" The stone only started to get brighter and brighter. Then it hit him. The sand was reacting to hid necklace. It wasn't that she was close to him but it's that it was telling him something. He remembered now where it all began on that warm day where he had just introduced himself, they were on a beach. He must need to head back there for fear of losing her. Rushing out of there he grabbed everything that reminded of him and moved towards the cave entrance he had almost forgot. He jumped in taking every one of her memories that he could with him and as he came up to surface and walked on the sand he instantly put down all of his things rushed to her side and hugged her tightly. He did not want to let go again. A swift luring kiss on the forehead touched her hair once again and he stayed there motionless waiting for the feeling of seeing Ellie again seep in.
She had turned around just in time to see him hug her. She smiled as he kissed her forehead and she hugged him tightly. After a few moments she let go and told him what had happened while she was 'away' then looked at him smiling softly and asked "you still have that necklace i gave you to give to the chief?" she had hopped that he still had. With out his response she said "we have to go back and talk to the chief. he will know what to do." and started to walk towards the water. She stopped suddenly and turned around waiting for him to go with her.
"Yes I still have the necklace" He pulls it out of his pocket and hands it to her to keep. He couldn't believe he had left her alone when he should have stayed by her side but it seemed as if it was her mind dreaming about her past and she had to meet up to reconstruct that contact. He nodded and followed but made sure to hold her hand as they both dived into the water once again. They resurfaced in the world they thought was magical but now it was turning dark. The suns had already overlapped and chaos was running amok. the whole world changed forms and it was completely a new experience I turned to her and said "Lucky I had brought this flute with me on my way out, we may have never found it in this area" He gave her the flute and tried to get her to the mountain as fast as she could run. There wasn't much time left.
She smiled and nodded, but did not budge. She placed the seashell which was now a powerful white color onto the flute he had given her. She took the mountain flute and attached it onto the side of the flute and put it to her lips. She blew into the new flue as softly as she would any. It played a song none could ever dream of. It was a lullaby yet it had feeling to it. after a moment she looked up into the sky and smiled softly. "It wasn't just in my dreams." something darted out from behind the suns and was diving towards them. Ellie smiled and stood her ground. A phoenix was landed not five feet away from them, screeching angerly. Ellie spoke the native tongue to it to calm it down and hopped onto its back. "Well you coming or what?" she smiled toward Oshana.
He stood in amazement for a quick second wondering how that came to be. but he just nodded as he gently climbed up the phoenix's back and held onto Ellie. He rested his head on her shoulders only to quietly fall asleep from exhaustion. He woke up a short while later in the air and was amazed at how high they were but saddened at the sight below. Burning and ruined trees, broken rocks and stone. Thrashed forests as wildlife had vanished to save themselves. He couldn't help but cry again for their loss...
She nodded and understood why he was crying. It hurt her too to see her home in ruins. They flew over mountains and valleys untill a lil village was in site. The bird had slowed down and landed in a giant bird cage. Ellie slid down the birds side dragging Oshana with her laughing all the while. The bird them bowed it's head. They walked into a small room that connected the cage with a temple. Inside it there was rock walls and few people walking calmly. She said a small payer, waited for him to also and entered, she held his hand gently and slowly walked into another room that was simmilar but more gracful. in there stood the chief who was injured. Ellie let go of his hand and rushed to the chiefs side. "are you ok?" she asked him worried that he might not make it threw this war. "Im very well my child." he said as he placed a hand on her shoulder then looked up at Oshana. he smiled softly. "I see you found her my son." at that he took his hand off of Ellie's shoulder and coughed. "I have something for you." She pulled the chain and gemstone and handed it to him. Then she stood up and backed up to hold Oshana's hand once again. "Very good my child." he said as he put it around his neck. "This will save our world." He slowly got up and walked towards the door.
Oshana quickly went to the door and pleaded "Chief wait father I have something for you." He took the necklace he had been wearing to find Ellie and put it in his hands. "This is all the essences of your daughter's beauty that I have used to always remind me of her but I want you to have it as a token of my gratitude." He got down on both knees and bowed silently as the Chief received his gift. He could only but respond "Thank you my son I will always remember this day. Now we must hurry if we are to save this world." I take Ellie's hand and we both follow The Chief to his destination. Slowly he grew a sense of happiness knowing Ellie willingly held his hand with such gentle firm hands. A smile erupted on his young face like no other he had felt before. He liked her very much.
Ellie looked ay Oshana and whispered to him. "How did you know he was my father?" we walk along pathways and down some stairs. Her father turned around and looked at both of them. "Now, what you see here shall be kept here." He turned back around and walked threw a mettle door into a room almost the size of the birdcage. In this room the walls where filled with nonsense stuff and in the middle of the room stood two guards and between then a pillar with a clamp ontop. Her father took the gem and placed it into the clamp. As he did this there where four slots that opened up in the bottom of the pillar and a dagger had appeared. Ellie knew what had to be done. Slowly she let go of his hand and separated the flutes and seashell. She placed each flute in a slot and the seashell in another. then took the necklace Oshana had made that was everything she was and out it in the last slot. She looked into Oshana's eyes and whispered to him "Do not worrie about me, this is what i was made to do." at that she took the dagger that was placed on the pillar and slit her palms open. "The wind gives me spirit, the grass gives me courage and the trees give me the strength i need to destroy these evil beings." as she said this she clinched her fists together over the gem and her blood dripped onto the gem and into the slots. after she was done the gem started to glow and Ellie had fainted.
"I see the caring in his eyes and he said you were his daughter." But as he came to the pillar and watched as she slit her palms and watched the blood flow he ran to her before she hit the ground. He cried rivers and oceans. Water and storms flooded the evil outside washed apart the damage and revived many of the creatures that were without water. Oshana buried his hands in his face that were now covered in blood. Then dreams flashed back as he remember his father speaking to him. He always used to say to him, "When you see true love fade away pray these words "Luna Wetaki Koha" it means Moon please give life and whoever or whatever you prayed for will be either given life or healed" He came out of the dream and grabbed Ellie's bloody hand. He closed his eyes and prayed for her. He calmly prayed out "Luna Wetaki Koha" Many times and did not stop. As Tears still flush out his eyes he continues to sob and pray that will be okay.
Ellies breathing slowed down and almost seemed to stop. in the midst of the pure white she had floated into she heard a familiar voice hurting deeply. the necklace that he had given her started to speak words to her 'Ellie you must rejoin the world, im sorry but it was never your time to go.' and with that her breathing started up again as she slowly opened her eyes. She saw Oshana crying and she said to him in the sweetest voice "I never meant to hurt you, but i couldn't tell you either." She smiled softly her palms began to heal as she looked into his eyes. "I heard a voice, it told me that i had to rejoin the world...your necklace spoke to me Oshana. you brought me back." she smiled once again
He heard her voice. "Was it her's?" he wondered. He couldn't believe his ears this was happening he slowly opened his eyes fear that she would still be there on the floor. Instead he had the prettiest girl staring into his eyes like nothing had happened. He bowed and then Cried on her shoulder again as he hugged Ellie. his father had actually helped him save someone he really cared about! He couldn't help it but he held her face perfectly straight with his face and kissed her. He sat there for what seemed like only minutes thinking about how she was just on the ground one step away from losing her. Oshana got up and held her hand to prop herself up as well and he asked. "Well, I have you back now, Where to?" As he patiently awaited her response he looked over to the chief and bowed to him as well and spoke his language. "Alqoni Nice Plu No" which interpreted as "I'm grateful for all that you have done, but I could not have let your daughter die to save a world she didn't want to lose in the first place" but it was much more sweeter and sweet as he held her other hand and looked into her stunning eyes for he could not move any longer as he awaited a response.
She couldn't help but smile, she slowly got up and then looked surprised when he spoke the native tongue. She looked at her father confused almost and then smiled softly. "I need to do one last thing before we go exploring." she slowly let go of his hands and walked over to her father. Whispering in his ear she said "You are forgiven my father, be well and live long." Her father looked at her and smiled then she kissed him on his forehead. Ellie walked back over to Oshana and took his hand as they made there way back to the cage she couldn't help but continuously smile. She climbed the phoenix and held her hand out for him. "Shall we go home and rest up?" she asked him.
"It is always my pleasure to go with you but can we stop at the bench? I want to see the nature one last time before I go rest." He smiled as he got on the phoenix and stroked the feathers on his head. Oshana almost forgot but took a leaf collar out made purely of maple tree leaves and placed a giant Teal teardrop gem in the middle for the Bird to wear. As he slid the necklace around his neck he spoke "Nahini Sola" which meant forever friendship between Oshana and the Phoenix. He then grabbed hold of Ellie around the waist and they took off waving to Father as they returned home.
She smiled knowing that he had finally found inner peace. as they flew above the forest and the valleys and then the mountains she looked down seeing all the animals and plants grow wild and free once again. She sighed relife when they had finally landed in her grassy patch. Ellie slid down the birds side and kissed its beak. she looked up into the sky and found that the two suns had fallen back into place. Slowly Ellie walked to the bench and awaited Oshana.
Oshana got off and stroked the phoenix's feathers once again before walking towards Ellie. He couldn't wait to show her the surprise. He sat down on the bench next to her and looked into the distance of nature that surrounded them, He asked one last time, "Isn't nature beautiful?" As he saw from the corner of her eye look around her where Oshana was staring, He used it as a distraction to place a neatly decorated box out of the different kinds of bark from the wood that he had chopped up. Inside that box he had laid a pure sterling silver flute that with each hole inlays there is a ring of blue sapphire gem around the holes. He had made that for her right before she got taken away when the war started. He then placed his arm around her, laid his head on Ellie's shoulder and waited for her to notice as he just stares into the world's beauty.
She smiled softly "Yes she is beautiful." She looked around and sighed softly. She was about to say something when she looked down and saw the box. Surprised she sorta blushed and looked at him all the while smiling. She slowly opened the box and saw the flute, her breath was taken away and she began to cry tears of joy. She picked the flute up and put it to her lips and blew into it as if she would of done the others.
Oshana sat there and listened to Ellie's song even more blessed then ever before. As the song ended he applauded her for it has been that one time where he felt the music flow through his heart and into his brain. He knew what he wanted to do now. He sat quietly for a few moments and then looked towards her. He whispered "The way you played those songs it was full of care and precision. This song though felt as you sang through me with your heart. The reason I brought you here is to remember this event, to give you that gift and..." He paused suddenly.
She smiled again put her head on his shoulder holding the flute closer to her heart. she listened to him speak and then when we stopped suddenly she looked at him curious to what he was going to say. "And...?" she softly said.
"I want to be with you in this world together." He expressed with extreme confidence in what he was saying. Then Oshana looked straight into Ellie's eyes as if she was the woman he had been searching for to not only to repair his broken heart but to seal it away forever as soul mates. Ellie blushed hard and didnt know what to say. all she could do is nod as approval. She then got up and took his hand and went to the cabin. "Im not comfortable with sleeping up stairs knowing what is up there. Could we seal that room off for good and bring everything down into the den?" she asked while smiling. she then went into the den and sat down. Ellie sat the typewriter on her lap and finished there story.
Oshana agreed, he climbed the stairs grabbed the bed and nightstand down set it near the other. Then he grabbed the bookshelves and headed down but stopped as he saw the book that he started reading a couple days before and he looked at the cover "Life is every way except down" He nodded happily as he set the book back on the shelf and took them down and set it next to the fireplace where we could read and be happy. He then set up one final time with a chisel and a huge rock where he put up a solid rock wall and trapped the room so that we could rest easily. Oshana finally walked down the stairs and joined Ellie on the bed where she was just finishing up her story. He then asked "Time for bed?"
She yawned softly and nodded. "I think its time for bed." she then smiled softly and put some more wood in the fireplace and laid down on the bed. it was still slightly strange to her that her first friend was going to be more then that. She like the idea but didnt know if father would 100% approve of it, but then she began to think about it and she came to the conclusion that she truly didnt care what her father thought. "I never told you about my mother." Ellie looked at Oshana and sighed softly "She was the best flute player in our world, then one day she passed. I was too young to understand why." she looked up at the ceiling for a moment then continued. "The reason why i no longer live amongst my people, but instead live out here is because as soon as i was old enough i found out that when i was 7 my mother sacrificed herself to save our world.." She looked back at him. "Similar to what happened to me today, except my father refused to heal her." a single tear ran down her cheek but she quickly wiped it away. "After that i ran away and found that beach. it was my get away, but soon strange people started showing up so i had to retreat back here. thats when i build all of this."
He hugged Ellie tightly and kissed her on the cheek and whispered "I understand, you're safe now." As he whispered that last word he dozed off with her in his arms never to be taken away by evil again.
