how I met my new co-worker at the station today:
*walks in to start shift and sees him sitting where I was supposed to be*
"What are you doing here?"
(said in head as: "Who the hell are you and what the hell are you doing here?" wink
and cue the confusion. He wanted to switch weekends, so I put that change on the calendar. so why the hell was he there?
I asked him multiple times what he meant when he asked to switch weekends, and didn't get a straight answer.
Think he finally admitted something along the lines of he didn't look at the schedule and thought he was supposed to be working....

I'M GETTING NOTHING DONE TODAY.
Did a touch of research for a paper during my morning shift, got back to the room and after a chat with Krin (SHE GRADUATED BASIC TRAINING TODAY!!!!!!!!!! whee ), took a nap from like 11 to 2:30.
And got to work again at 3 today. Do that fun stuff until 6, then spending an intimate evening with the list of homework.
but seriously, this shift is already turning out to be interesting.
phone's been ringing off the hook.
COURTEOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE DUDE FOR A WORK THING IS TOO COURTEOUS. bordering on clinging. o.e;;
lol. lag. I type and type, and it doesn't show up for a few seconds.
