Thor- *swoon* My favourite Avenger.... and fellow Aussie, Chris Hemsworth. And considering his brother Liam (*MEGA SWOON*) is Gale, my love, in The Hunger Games, these brothers are.... mine. [NOTE: I'm not really the 'fan girl' type, however] And who doesn't love the scene when Thor classically denys his brothers heritage? mega LOL.
And my personal favourite scene is when Thor appears for the first time, or rather, just before he appears. Captain America is all like to Loki, "What, you afraid of a little lightning?" And Loki's all like,
"I'm not particularly fond of what comes after it." OMG, I know, i know, but for some reason i just love that part, Thor is so big and powerful and God like-- totally hell dangerous. Me like. And then theres this ----->
Me also like. Its so unnatural for me to act so fan-girly.... bur seriously, wow O.O 
Iron Man- LOL. The funniest Avenger... EVER! Even when times get tough (about to get crushed/blended by a plane engine, number 3 to be accurate, or alone and unarmed with the master mind enemy) he's still joking around, being his fabulously witty and entertainingly cynical self. And in a way, he saves the day in the end, single handedly.
Black Widow- Wow, just wow. Does not every girl want to be this woman? I know I sure do. Her ninja skills are awe-inspiring, and her sneaky ways of getting people to spill the beans is incredible. When I read recently on a Wikipedia site that she was dead, I nearly had a fit! The Black Widow can't die! NO!!!! But then i calmly figured that because it was wiki it must be wrong and then i smoothly carried on with the rest of my day. God, she is so not dead!
Captain America- In the movie he doesnt actually have that big a part, however his hotness does not go to waste.
True I would have liked to see a bit more biffo for the old punching-boxing-bags-to-the-floor guy, but still, he's great. And then that scene when, for a moment there, he's fighting Thor, and you get the whole unstoppable force (Thors hammer) meeting unmoveable object (CapA's sheild) scenario, and what do you get? An explosion. 
Oh, and being a female, I found THIS totally awesome.Hulk- The biggest, greenest, meanest anger machine of all time! RAWR!!!!!!! Honestly, part of me thinks hulk is a little scary what with all the scenetific manipulation of normal human cells and other sciencey stuff. I mean, thats just creepy, white gooey stuff oozing from abnormally large starfish, exploding frogs and injecting unknown chemicals into yourself... CRAZY-a**!!! Luckily none of this is mentioned nor even acknowledged in the avengers, Hulk just goes out there and kicks butt. But ever since i had that dream when I was little about me turning into the female hulk and crushing all the mean bullies out there, I've always had a soft spot for him. For example, this ---->
Hawkeye- Holy cow, did you know this guy is forty-one?!?!? Man does he not look it when he's shooting exploding arrows at steel-like space creatures resembling a cross between a snake and a dragon without wings. Seriously, hes really kicking it with the spring chickens.
To be honest I didnt know who is was at the beginning of the movie, but the first impression i got was that he was definintely a goodie. So when Loki 'possessed' him, i was shocked and horrified, but not surprised, because it was only a hunch i had. Then when he was tunred back, i was all "HUH, I KNEW HE'D BE GOOD! in yo face!" so yeah...Loki- Technically this guy isn't an Avenger, per-say, but he is IN the Avengers movie, so yeah. And I really really like him, theres just something intriguing and mysterious.
'Thor' was the first Marvel superhero movie i ever saw, causing me to simulaneously fall in love with both Loki and Thor (but the God of Thunder more of course ;D ) I don't know what its is, but Loki is the most awesome supervillan ever! And also the cutest in kitty form!!
