I can't believe that by tomorrow it's a week ago, that my beloved kitten Hexi did die. Everybody thought that he just caught a cold and that it isn't that bad, but after just one week, it got worse, and after another week he was dead. After the vets did take an x-ray and an endoscopy on my cat, they found out, that he seemed to have had a very aggressive kind virus, that caused a severly inflammation of the lungs and this caused a narrowing of the thrachea, so that he wasn't able to breath anymore. Antibiotics didn't help and even the use of cortison didn't do any good, so I decided with the vets, that I let him put to sleep, because the vets said, that he will suffocate slowly otherwise.
On one hand it was a hard decision, because I love my pet so much and I miss him so badly, but on the other hand I didn't want him to suffer any longer.
I'm so sad about this loss, but I know it was the only option.
Then my best friend said to me, that I can have he cat, because she still has two and my two are both dead. My other kitten did die last may. And then shortly after I did get this cat, which I love very much as well, did get ill too. So at the moment, I'm seriously mentally battered. Luckily Zadei seems to get better, but I'm still panicking... I hope that everytghing will back to normal soon.
