how many early, early mornings I spent working on pointless assignments, how many hours of frustration went into each and every single hour dedicated to the study of useless s**t.
you tell me the goddamn use of knowing the inverse tangent of an isosceles triangle in every day life, and why it's worth going back to high school once I've graduated to know it, and we can chat.
... anywho.
church was uneventful, did stuff all afternoon. wrote the family christmas letter, decorated cookies (with my new flavor extracts, nonetheless biggrin ), and took a long nap until it was time for the kid's christmas program at church.
thee. funniest. thing. EVAR. they did it on the real 12 days of Christmas, and at the end they sang the song... oh, to be an overzealous child, ripping the mic out of the hands of the person before them even before they were done singing... xD
then general hang-out time with the gang in the kitchen afterwards, then back home.
need to clean up and pack tomorrow for the short trip back to ia... gonk
soooo scared. i know I'll do fine (especially since when I shadowed one of the shifts I was telling the other work-study what to do... stare ), but yeah...
excited to learn the ropes, though. ^^

piano tuner's coming tomorrow. i guess he was here not too long ago, but a string broke and he ran out of time so he couldn't finish it. i gave up trying to play it because it sounds so funky...
so excited to get it fixed. :]
actually looking forward to going back to an empty campus. 1. i'll have practically the entire building to myself (minus the foreigners...) 2. i can totally make a mess of our room because i'll be the only one there 3. I'll have time to make it a mess because the only stuff I'll be doing is going to work and doing some hobby stuff 4. having time to play with the keyboard and software, and also having time to get some sewing done!
... yeah. ^^
car tires are still driving me bonkers. last night i tried to put some air in, but long story short I ended up with frozen fingers, a waste of half an hour, and no extra air in the tires to show for my suffering. *sigh*
