I know it hurts
To have the one you love leave.
I know it feels weird
To not have him by your side.
I know what it feels like
I've been through it before.
Mind tricks, lies, depression
It all comes together.
At this point in time.
It doesn't feel right, to not talk to him all night.
It doesn't feel good to think he's with someone else.
But, I'm here to tell you
That it's not the end of the world.
That a life just started
To let someone else walk into your life
And make you the happiest girl you've ever been.
That person will not be like anyone else.
But don't let him do anything
To hurt you
To use you
To stab you in the back.
Because you gave him your full trust.
And you should expect it back.
And always remember.
If he does
Hurt you
Use you
Stab you
He's not worth the time
That you're giving out.
Keep on walking
Down the road
