now i want my glasses.
a lazy day is not a true lazy day without them; nor is a saturday where the last thing I want to worry about is my contacts drying out after a long day of hitting the books.
gonna double-check on some stuff for the radio next week.
i'm getting a little confused. and nervous.
i can't smell very good right now (i'm convinced we should get a humidifier, but kenzie's afraid of the mold), but i think I smell cookies. O.o
blurrrrrrgh. I hate reading into things. Like poetry. and books we're supposed to get a deeper meaning out of. Exhibit A: How is the book Life of Pi a story that "will make you believe in God?"
have a headache and wanna go back to bed.
many pet peeves atm. mainly grammar. "peaves" is spelled "peeves"; "peaked" is spelled "piqued".
thought you outta know. ;P
sister and mom, dad and gma came to the band concert last night. kind of entertaining, weird having them here.
manda wants to move to california... again.
one one hand, I'm very jealous of her free-spirited-ness.(?) on the other, I'm trying to comprehend how utterly stupid the idea is.
she doesn't have a drivers license, any sort of college degree, and no employment history. she's never lived on her own, doesn't know anything about domestics, and thinks that $150 is a lot of money.
tch.
makes me think if she can do it, so can I. But i won't because to have a good hit, you need to have a decent follow-through. So I'm going to get a degree in something vague and generic, rack up as much work experience as possible, and figure out how finances work before I head out on my own. That way when I decide to run off to the west coast or someplace, I can do it right. I'll get an apartment, get a good-paying job that I love (that my college and work experience helped me get), and hopefully things will work out from there.
I'm still learning.
and I've heard it's a mark of maturity to know that you're not mature yet.
which is kind of funny... *snerk*

have you ever lost contact with someone, then gone on a spree to try to find out what they've been up to for the past few years?
yeah, that was me last night.
spooky how much I can come up with, yet it seems like nothing at all... :/
finals tomorrow. grrr. don't wanna study.
but it shouldn't be that bad. have a feeling the civ one will be easier than usual, but the lit one will be a little weird since I didn't exactly take notes in class... >.>.......
figured out i'll be home for every weekend of break, so in a sense the radio is just a fun thing to do in-between.
it's only 3 or 4 days at a time, so nothing serious.
it'll be nice to get going for real with it.
then i'll use the lessons I learned this past summer and apply them to this new job.
:/
