Discuss here, keeping in mind that all the contestants technically fulfilled the requirements (so long as they actually posted entries), and I wanna make clear that the various ways of choosing to do the different poses are all legitimate. For example, using an I AM pose for a backwards avatar isn't a cop out. It's just another legitimate use of backwards. So let's leave it to whether the avatar itself is well done or not.
Anyway, discuss: 1) anyone who you think needs to be eliminated, keeping it lenient still 2) anyone who you think needs to be tested on something
If you have any general ideas, those are of course welcome, too.
I dunno. There's no one I would say is horribly off the mark, but here and there I see things that are maybe not to my taste or where I might feel like nitpicking at specific item choice. Nothing quite bad enough to single out. Maybe I'm just being a curmudgeon and that's why I can't back it up.

Credit me with some intelligence. If not, just credit me.
Did Bluecherry and Cinderfae submit second rounds? Because I only see their first season things.
Iymcool's backwards ones.. I'm not sure I love them. They're good avatars, but I almost feel like they're cheating. Just because they both almost avoid actually USING the back of the avatar. They're all just using items that cover up the back of the avatar entirely. It kind of makes me wonder if they're just afraid of actually working a backwards avatar.
I dunno. I'm not saying they should be eliminated or anything, but it does make me wonder if they could do a backwards avatar without completely obscuring the back of the avatar.
I come in value packs of ten In five varieties.

I agree with you, Mara. There are some that aren't my taste, and some that I wouldn't say are even super good disregarding my taste, but I don't see any that are so bad that I would even give them a test. And I'm actually rather pleased with quite a few of them.
Erin, I see what you're saying, but it is still technically backward. I never told them they couldn't cover up most of the back with one item, so I feel like it'd be unfair to make that a requirement after the fact and call them out on it. This makes me think of a future round I had planned, though. I was thinking that down the line, after we've already tested on a bunch of different things, we'd get a couple judges for each person to tell them what their weakest round was and to redo it. So this could be one of those weak rounds for him that a judge might want him to revisit. And yeah, those two you mentioned didn't submit entries, and I just went back through and put them on the eliminated list instead. Everyone left shooould be people who have entries, but lemme know if I missed anyone. xD

I don't see any super strong weakness like I did the last round...

Well, that's 4 out of 6 judges, and technically the rule is that 3 judges have to agree for anyone to be tested or eliminated. Though maybe now that Nine isn't judging any more, I should make that 2. I dunno.
That said, I'd still like to hear what Tuni and Techi have to say, and of course you guys are welcome to change your minds.

Going through, there are none that scream completely god awful to me. If I had to put someone on the chopping block, it would be criniera and iymcool. For most entrants, it's usually 1 or sometimes 2 that I don't like. However, with these two, I am struggling to find even 1 that I DO like. The avatars just seem mediocre.

I kinda like criniera's entries for the most part. There's something about them that's interesting to me, and I have a feeling it's her use of color. The funny thing is she seems to do a lot of nonmatching (or at least I find those ones more memorable), yet her actual entry for the nonmatching last time sucked balls. lol I guess when you tell people what to do they get confused and don't realize they've been doing it naturally all along.
I agree that iym has been mediocre, though. Nothing in particular to test him on, though, 'cause it's just all of it. He seems to accomplish the task, just not interestingly.

Sorry for taking so long to join in whee
I agree with pretty much all that's been said. In most of the contestants, there are entries that I don't particularly like due to my personal tastes but it's nothing I think anyone should be tested on.
Regarding criniera.. I actually really, really like all of her entries for Round 2. I think they're quite appealing, but more than anything, I find them interesting and unique. Her non-matching test is an improvement on last round, and I feel like she's got the non-matching part of it down, but I still find it really unappealing. It's not cohesive enough for me and the shape doesn't look great. I'd like to see her tested on that again, with some advise like, don't concentrate sooo hard on the actual non-matching colours, and other things that've been said in this discussion. I think she could make something really great.
The only contestant I have a problem with at the moment is iymcool. I have quite a strong dislike for 2 out of his 4 entries and the other two are kinda average (the forward sitting one and backwards sitting one are ok, but still, not to my personal taste). His entries look just really boring and lazy to me, not appealing at all. I don't think he should be eliminated this round, but if there's no improvement, then I'll probably be gunning for his elimination next round. I don't think he puts any effort into developing character and personality at all, so I'd really like to see him tested on that.
Other than that, I'd like to single out QJ's entries for Round 2, because I think they're all outstanding. His simple test is also a really good improvement, but I think his non-matching test is worse than the Round 1 entry.
