Today, one of my friends/coworkers mother was beaten and then shot twice in the back by her boyfriend. Now I don't swear but this is to prove a point. This is absolute bullshit that this can happen to someone, male or female. I was almost glad to hear that my friend nearly beat the brakes off of this ******** b*****d and he was unable to defend himself just like my friend's mother was unable to defend herself, because he was handcuffed. Domestic abuse is not something that has happened to me per se, but it has happened to my two sisters and my mother, in my house. I pray to God that I don't hear of anything else like this happening. It got better for my loved ones, but it may not get better for his mom. She is critical and we can only pray. So please, don't be a part of the cycle. Any abuse to women and to men in a relationship or under any other circumstance is unacceptable. Help me and others by vowing and say, "Not Me". Please, pass this along to your friends. By taking a stance you become one less person in the equation of domestic violence. Be apart of a positive equation. Stop Domestic Violence.
