Hell's Fury-Dark Armed Chapter: XII Claws of Life and Death The first three to make it to the roof's top of Lucifer's castle was Shielsia, Kalbe and Yazl. They found a stairwell that led up. Though Shielsia had to keep taking moments to catch her breath they made it to the top. They searched the court yard for any device that could be creating the white shroud. The whole courtyard was also shrouded in the grey fog. The hole in the sky was much more prominent than before. Not looking for the generator, but resting on a bench Shielsia gazed up at the sky. She was too exhausted to help look. Even though the search did turn out to be fruitless Kalbe sat beside her, though her rump gave him little room on the bench. "Tsk, nothing. Whatever's making the fog aint coming from here." He sighed. "Oh." Was all she could say, still unaware of a way she could approach him. The kiss they shared in the hastened fate, still ran through her mind, as well as his. Yazl was wandering about the courtyard still in search, with him out of the way, it was now the time for Kalbe to apologize. "Forgive me…" He phrased it the most humble way that he could. "For the-the kiss I mean." Her hand clenched she looked down, her long black bangs covered her round face. "I know.. I over reacted, it's just." She was shy and never really been held by a man or anything. The kiss was a violation upon her moral code of giving it all to god. The bible was set in her lap as her hands trembled over it's golden plated cover. "Just?" She couldn't admit this, but it was in her heart, in her mind, strangling her thoughts. "I liked it…" Her face became rosy. Though he acted cool Kalbe's ego inflated. His grin was concealed by the fog, which he was now thankful for, but kept his voice as gentle as it was. "Well…" He was extraordinarily cautious. "The feeling is mutual." Kept his words from their sloppy slur. She knew he would say something like that. Though having a life without only humble love to all of god's creatures, Shielsia was not as naïve as she led. She was taught well by many congregations to block out such odd feelings, but the passionate kiss of death she shared, began to unwire some of her traditional thoughts. Her shoulder somewhat leaned into him and he in turn placed his arm around her. He would have leaned in for a kiss, but then Yazl came running, though not alone. "Look who I found!" He came from the front side of the courtyard's stone pillars. "Hey Yazl, it's not Lucifer is it?" "No." The voice of AnRak pounded into their heads. "Looks like we all got here together." He sighed in relief, but then found his mind lurking in tragic guises. "Still no Tamoka.." He placed the bag of armor down with a gentle pat to the grass. "Be here sooner than not she will." The squeaky voice against AnRak's ear sounded. "Sorry man…" Kalbe stood up to give AnRak a hug, not only for the loss, but to apologize for the mutiny he led. "We really should've stayed together." AnRak nodded then moved his hand out to find Shielsia, however it accidentally grabbed at one of her plump breasts. As soon as he realized what he was touching he dodged his head, but realization was too late, the golden bible struck his cheek. "That gag again…" Yazl shook his head. "Ugh… I did not mean that! I wish to inform you this will be your temple." He forgot not his promise to her and would make the castle hers. "No dice man, it belongs to Lucifer." Kalbe explained. "Plus it's really frightening and has the devil's wrath." Shielsia declined the offer. AnRak was determined to keep his promise. He smirked confidently. "Lucifer can't make us crash again, let's find him and end this!" His deep voice shouted. He had his own personal stake. Long ago Lucifer killed his wife. "Megumi…" He whispered to himself, looking up. His tortured eyes saw the hole in the sky, he was well aware of the fog barrier's origin. He swore revenge and would make sure his arrow destroyed the king of darkness. A loud thumping sound began to come from under Shielsia. Yazl covered his nose and Kalbe cocked his eye brow backing away slightly. "It's not me!" She defended herself, immediately standing up. The bench's top flung up, revealing a hidden corridor. Though it was nearly impossible to see, all that was in AnRak's sights were two slanted, red glowing eyes. Tamoka was out from her hiding spot, but no sooner was she at her feet, she felt the warm embrace of AnRak once again. The girl buried her pale face into his warm domineering chest. "AnRak…" Her voice trembled in it's muffled state. Her long ears listening to the beating of his heart. He held her, stroking her cloaking wings, picking some of the spurs out that were left by Lucifer. Shielsia tackled Tamoka, squeezing the life out of her waist. "I'm so, so, so sorry… I will never hit you with the bible ever again, I promise…" Tears flowed down her cheeks and Tamoka, squeaked gasping for air nervously. At last Shielsia had her chance to repent for her mistreatment of the Hellian. Everyone was overjoyed, Yazl forced them into a group hug. "Ahem…" Ducard stepped out. "What is he doing here?" Shielsia complained. AnRak's massive hand picked Ducard by his bandaged neck and held him up. "I should break you in two for what you've done!" His ferocity frightened the man. "Go ahead.." Having helped Tamoka find the castle and her friends Ducard felt he succeeded in repenting his life and misdeeds. "Stop!" Tamoka punched AnRak over the head. "Idiot, he helped me, why the hell else would he be following me?" "I don't know, maybe to kill you!" "Friends are friends, among you he is to be." The voice squeaked in AnRak's ear. "Rakuga?" Tamoka squinted, but before any more joy could be expressed, the area became darker and the maniacal laughter of Lucifer filled their ears. "Ah, together again. To bad it will be short lived!" He had two glowing whips of blood extend from his arms, gathered from the combination of Tamoka's and his other two victims, Creed and Xoyel. "I'm really getting sick of that laugh!" Yazl yelled at him. "Join the club sweetie…" Tamoka ruffled his hair. "Time to finish this!" With a bemused smirk Lucifer reiterated her statement. "Finish it? Ha! You said the same thing an hour ago!" "You b*****d…" AnRak held back his anger and turned to Tamoka. He pointed to the bag. "Quick, put it on, it's ready for you!" He held his blade out to Lucifer. "She's right, it ends here!" He charged at her. He didn't stand a chance! "You idiot!" Tamoka yelled at him, but she was being fondled by Shielsia, Yazl and Kalbe who had been gathering all the parts of armor and dressing them on her. With Rakuga's foreshadowing guidance AnRak however did stand a chance. "At left he comes! From the earth!" The red whips were slashing as she had predicted them, giving AnRak the advantage, even with his disadvantage of having one weapon to defend himself. "Hahahahahahaha, you're almost as skilled as the girl, but just as stupid." AnRak couldn't keep up with the oncoming statements and his leg was bond, then his left arm. With his right arm he released his sword, spinning it toward Lucifer. The demonic blood vessel's eyes gazed at the sword, it stopped a mere inch from his nose, then it evaporated. "How predictably mortal of you! Now feel the burn of hell." His deep voice growled the end word. AnRak's bindings burnt his wrist and leg. He tried with his free hand to untie the whip, but it singed the flesh of his fingers. Another second longer and the veins would melt, but a blur of sunlight twisted around and severed both of the crimson whips returning them to their liquid state. "What?!" Lucifer growled, his eyes following the spinning figure. He knew it was Tamoka from the delicious scent of blood it fanned at him, but her body moved as a golden tornado. When the small twister ceased spinning, only the bright shine of the newly acquired golden armor could be seen, along with her glowing red eyes, at first dizzy from the spinning dive she just did, but then refocused with hatred upon Lucifer. There were bars over her wings, which extended a metal covered sheath, light enough to protect the leather ligaments and keep them intact. At her feet two shin guards protected her ankles and flexed, wrapping to the bottoms of her heels. Her breast plate perfectly rounded for her bust, doubled as a bra. Her pelvic and thigh shields were light and didn't scrape against her always flexing flesh. The two shoulder shields each had a five inch fan like spike sticking out, one going forward, the other facing backwards, it is what helped her achieve the tornado move. Upon her hands, two large claw gauntlets that shielded her whole entire forearm. Each gauntlet had two sharp claws the length of swords. Intertwined in each claw was a thread of the crimson whip, dissipating, turning into blood. "Hmph, so what's this? So you've got a new outfit?" She glared at him, her golden wings beating the sky. Each one stroke blew the fog about, creating small whirlwinds. "You bring about darkness to everybody! This armor will bring you darkness!" "Bold words, for somebody who has already lost round one and two, time to make it a triple sweep!" He still found nothing to fear, even if the armor brought her some speed and strength, nothing could penetrate his wings. "Careful!" Yazl shouted. "Don't get dead!" The black guy said. "Tamoka, make me proud!" AnRak cheered nursing his wounds. Tamoka nodded to them. She flew dived once again toward Lucifer who emitted his glow of darkness wrath. It was a striking aura of black that blew her away. Her large gauntlet's shielded her face as her wings caught air again. Before she was able to strike again, her waist was wrapped in another crimson whip that Lucifer produced. He took flight as well and spun her around. Her claws immediately and easily severed the whip and she flew back upwards, into the sky. The intention of slamming her into the ground had been negated instead she flew so high, that she was above the fog and the sun blasted upon her golden armor. "There's a limit to his power…" She smirked. Knowing that she just had to get him up there. She dove back down, cutting another hole through the fog. Her claws were outwards, her wings tucked close to her body, creating another twister. The baring of her attack could not be detected by Lucifer. His ruby lips quivered at the oncoming tempest. So instead of striking it with his whip he cloaked himself in his impenetrable wings. Tamoka's blades slammed against it, but only to bounce off. She flew back again. "Damn you!" "How pathetic!" He let go of the crimson whip and opened his hands again releasing another blast of darkness at her. The blast was blood he had stored within threads of his cape. Blood from thousands of lesser demons to create a powerful brew of death. Even Tamoka's dragon claws couldn't withstand the beating. It endowed her whole body with pain, slicing her all over, slamming her against one of the pillars that used to stand a gargoyle. Lucifer grinned landing. He began slashing arrows of bats against AnRak and the others, so that they would not be in his way, so he could have it. "You're mine now." His teeth bared out. "Tamoka…" The weakened AnRak stood, but fell again. Kalbe had protected Yazl and Shielsia, his back was ripped to ribbons. Shielsia held him closely crying. Her lips planted against his forehead as the tears ran down her face. Tamoka groaned, her back was against the pillar. With weary eyes she stared up at Lucifer. Even with her brand new armor she couldn't destroy him. Pitiful, pathetic, worthless. How could I lose? Tamoka tried to lift her arms, but she had lost too much blood from this and the first battle of the day. She released the iron bars and unhitched each gauntlet. "I've not only beaten you, but I've broken your spirit, now let's remove that pesky flesh!" He stopped ten feet from her and opened his wings, releasing thousands of bat blades at her. Tamoka growled, she had life in her, but only managed to stand up, her three fingers held out to slash at the blades, but with the loss of blood she was sluggish in her actions. Ducard who was closest took his final ounce of strength and gave it to her. He jumped in front of the barrage of blades. Not only did they skin him alive, but they tore at his muscles, organs and bones. A scattered body fell to the ground in front of Tamoka. She heard him speak a final sentence as he was stripped of life. "Live and thank you…" "We gave each other a new chance…" She looked at his terrible corpse, his blood had scattered all over, including onto her, turning her body red. "Ducard…" "Don't bring him into the light, bring the light to him, times running out!" The shrilled voice of Guile echoed through the sky. "You treacherous whelp!" Lucifer growled at Guile. Tamoka lunged at Lucifer, her feet kicking his exposed chest. Then using the retraction of his perfect spine's curvature, she sprang herself up into the air spinning. This time with her wings out creating a greater gust of wind. The fog around her was absorbed into the tornado and disappeared. "Damn witch!" Lucifer attempted using another crimson whip, but it was repelled by one of the twirling wing shields. Finally when she ripped a hole big enough into the fog barrier, a ray of the red sun gashed upon him. His whole body began to smoke. He tried to lift his whip, but he was practically paralyzied from the sunlight. Tamoka finished spiraling, her wings blowing her side to side, dizzily her eyeballs were also twirling as she opened them. "AnRak, toss me your bow and an arrow!" She shouted as she floated downwards. She caught the weapons, slicking the arrow against her foot, which had caught some of the lesser demon blood that spattered onto Lucifer chest. The blood then in her hand enveloped the arrow in a nuclear essense. "No don't!" Lucifer attempted to get out of the way. The glow of Tamoka's pendant aided in her shot, she launched the arrow directly down into the center of his chest. Lucifer's body exploded into a black mist of blood, his final scream was not heard until after he was no more. The fog disappeared and Tamoka landed on her knees panting heavily, coughing up blood. Slowly she crawled over to AnRak, her wings dragged against the ground like a black blanket. The sun was a pleasant sight for all of them. "I did it…" She groaned laying beside him, he wrapped one of his mighty arms over her small frame. There was nothing to be said, he was glad that she was his- "Well, well, that's one pesky mess cleared up." The shrill voice sounded again as Guile hovered down to them, he had large black wings and a black aura over his head that was a halo. "You helped me…? Who the hell are you?" "You saved us too!" Yazl and Shielsia recalled. "My, that was just incidental." Guile actually didn't care for any of them, except for Tamoka. The blind man smirked. Yazl then began screaming. "What happened?! It's dark again! Help me! HELP!" He was clinging to Shielsia and Kalbe who was still unconscious. Guile smirked as he walked over to where Lucifer's blood burst. He gathered up some of it. "Sorry, just had to borrow your sight." He turned back to them smiling, then brushed some hair out of his face. "Ah, I'm looking as young as ever." Guile had no eye sight, so he decided to possess Yazl's, only for a moment. He disappeared and Yazl could see again. "Hey get back here!" The weak Tamoka stood shouting, but fell back down onto AnRak's lap. "No use he's gone." He sighed brushing his hands through her silver and black hair. "You've got your armor, you got your temple and Kalbe got his death." AnRak recalled Kalbe wanted to die on their trip a week ago. "He's still alive, how can you be so callous?" Shielsia whimpered holding poor Kalbe close, his head was against her warm, ample bosom. Secretly he was awake, but played it off as slumber. "Kay, get the dirt bag inside, there's a whole entire hospital down there." Tamoka sighed nuzzling her head against AnRak, accidentally stabbing him with her horns. She then looked over to Ducard. She staggered to her feet, kneeling before him. "I don't know about your religion." She addressed the corpse. "Where ever you are now, you are happy." She imagined a healthy Ducard with his wife and family…Having bbq. "I'm sure he is…" AnRak walked over with her to help her pray for him. Rakuga the spider shouted into AnRak's ear, though it was a whisper. "Alive not wasted, saved for the girl it was, while she saved for him." Before AnRak could respond Rakuga fluttered down. "Meet again a form new, not in summer nor spring, but upon a heater." Rakuga winked, but only Tamoka's keen eye could see it. "We had really weird help this time…" AnRak shook his head. Shielsia and Yazl brought Kalbe down to the chamber where the demons had been kept in liquid storage. "What happened here?" Yazl was the first to notice the broken tanks. There was also a tone of dead flesh on the ground. The bodies of Xoyel and Creed were nowhere to be found. "Quick, get AnRak and Tamoka!" Shielsia asked of the boy, incase those two demons were wandering about alive. The boy ran off after they laid Kalbe down on the bed. "That bad to get me alone?" Kalbe's eyes propped open, glowing green from the surrounding lights. "Eeek!" Shielsia squeaked as Kalbe brought her head to his, forcing his lips upon hers once again. His hand stroking up and down her lower back, feeling her chubby sides. She at first was reluctant, but returned the passion. Their voices groaning in joy at each others fluids. At the setting sun AnRak gazed smiling. The orange and pink sky glared down upon them. The great bright ball floating down the horizon. He had Tamoka cradled in his arms. Most of her body was limp and swaying. Her head was turned away from the sunset. AnRak was astounded by this. "Here we are watching the most beautiful sunset atop the highest region and your looking away?" She looked up at him. "The sun is leaving." "So?" He tilted his head. "So look, the night sky is coming in." It was her nature to prefer night over day. "It's beautiful…" AnRak looked the opposite direction and saw something he had never seen before. The light violet went into a darkness, with a reflected glow of the sun over any of the clouds turning them red. This is the world from her perspective, it was not a dark place of despair, but a new view on the other side. "I see it now…" He buried his face into the back of her head inhaling. He was very proud of what she had become, not the warrior, but the kind heart she had grown with. It was her who changed him from the cold demon hunter to having opened eyes. She shown Shielsia and Yazl that she would be there for them. She even changed the leper Ducard's perception and gave him a renewal into his faith after Lucifer had plunged him into darkness.
