This one trick Ryan Sheckler did literally made my jaw drop. He spun around like 4 times at rapid speed within like half a second after grinding on an up-rail.
We were doing our best to meet Rob Dyrdek (of course ;P). We got 4 VIP passes 8D gotta love Anna for doing that for us. We had 7 people, so we just traded off. But yeah, we didn't meet Rob, and that's okay. Actually, I met his mom xD. Anna was just like "Miya, Patty just went into the VIP room if you want to go say hi," so I did. The VIP room was basically a restaurant with free food that we could just get up and go to whenever we wanted. So Daniella and I went and saw her and she was all "I don't think we should do this..." but I was all "Screw it, I'm taking a shot." So when she walked by, I was all "Excuse me, are you Rob's mom?" xD LMAO. Such an awkward question, but she looked so different in person. And she was all "Yes I am," being all unenthusiastic of course, but she always seemed that way on Fantasy Factory anyway. I just asked if Rob ever came into that room, and she said no, so we were all "Well we're really big fans" and left. xD Felt kinda bad bugging her.
Later on, my dad and Anna pointed out Drama in the front row, and like a half hour went by and my brother noticed he was gone. I was just thinking "What if he went into the room?" So, just for the fun of it, I went and checked, and sure enough, there he was. I couldn't even recognize him. He looks SO different in person. So I went and got a picture with him, and he was super nice. When I got back and told everyone, they all scurried down there for autographs. Apparently when my brother asked if he could sign something, he was all "you better believe I can," and when he realized the sharpie we had was drying out, he was all "you've got a crappy markerrr...." Lol xD he's so cool. I never really noticed that from the show. Rob's always the center of attention, but I'm going to be looking at Drama differently from now on.

When the competition was over, we noticed the line to meet Rob was like a mile long, just like at the mall, so we just skipped it and got pizza instead. I find it funny how before, NO ONE knew who Rob was. No one I knew ever even heard of him. But, this week, all of a sudden EVERYONE knows who he is and they all love him so much that they're willing to wait in line for hours just to meet him. Figures... but whatever. Yeah, it would've been awesome to meet him myself, but people will flock to any celebrity most of the time, no matter how popular or unpopular they are.
What's surprising to me though, is how Rob acts around fans. When I saw him at the mall on Wednesday, he didn't look too excited at all. But then again I only saw him for a few seconds then. But even towards the end of SLS, I went and stood up close with a bunch of other people, and we were all calling Rob's name when he got real close, but he didn't even look. We all felt so ignored xD. Not to put him down by any means, but I would've thought he'd be much more enthusiastic with his fans and more excited to meet them. Then again, maybe I'm just used to that attitude from the Paramore members, who are always extremely excited to meet fans. But yeah. Guess I won't ever know until I meet him, if that ever happens.
Well, it was definitely a cool experience. Totally going again next year. ;D

I'm not sure if it's the one Rob built in the episode, but it could very well be a possiblility. :3
