Square Dancin'!
(How does that have to do with anything? I don't even...)
So let me start at the beginning. A few months ago, meaning like two, Nannette, Steph and I were playing Red Dead Redemption when we noticed there was this strange white line at the top of the TV screen. We left it alone, then a few hours later we tried to watch Hell's Kitchen. IT WOULD NOT WORK.
Basically, the white line had decended to the middle of the screen, and no matter what the top half only showed static. We told our mom, and she said she'd go to the store sometime to see prices on TVs. She came home with a 42 inch flat screen: my first flat screen ever. biggrin
Moving on... Mom, Steph and I were watching Forrest Gump about two weeks later when these people with ATT came to our door and offered us U-Verse. Mom was like, "Sure!" So the next week this guy came to our house and long story short, we have cable for the first time since I was 12.
Now this is when I get to my actual story. We have been watching nothing but cartoons day in and day out. I mean, it's not like I watch anything else anyway, but this is rediculous. I watch an hour of Danny Phantom at noon(which is honestly silly because we own season one now and I could watch that whenever I want) then at two I watch an hour of Ed Edd n Eddy(which is also silly because I'm sure I have half of those episodes on tape somewhere, not to mention we bought the movie last week) and then at eight I watch Power Puff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, and Johnny Bravo. It's insane.
Also, I watched Xiaolin Showdown with my brothers, but that was on DVD. (that, by the way, is where the title for this journal comes from)
I miss Courage to Cowardly Dog. It used to come on after Ed Edd n Eddy, but it got replaced by new shows that look horrible and I refuse to touch with a 12-foot pole. Grr.
Oh, and in the world of video games, today Nannette, Steph and I beat Resident Evil 4, and yesterday we all went down to my grandma's and played Kinect Sports all day. Nannette kicked my butt at track and field and bowling, but I kicked both their butts at boxing and table tennis. Right now Nannette and Steph are playing Toy Story 3, which is flippin' HARD.
You know, for a story, nothing really happened. I think I need to do more stuff.
