the sound of the city crushes me with its wordlessness.
the only thing i seem to hear
are my thoughts
so near.
the words left unspoken rush through my mind
just waiting for their time
and as i sit here
i think
of the sounds of the city surrounding me
pulling me down with its weightlessness
and its silence kills me...
i'll never be found again.
