no one knows when the end of the world is except God.
in any case, I didn't much care about it.
it's been a really really random time, and like I said last night at the OCCT Prom, it feels like i'm going through emotional frostbite.
how's that, you say? well, you know when you're freezing to death, all of your ligaments and the like like your arms and legs wither away first in order to preserve the core as long as possible.
I think that's happening to me... the things that SHOULD be important, aren't, because I'm just trying to survive.
hopefully things get better soon.
only two more days left of actual school, but because of trig, hell will last longer. gonk
can't focus.
On Call prom was interesting. I was scared outta my mind and stressed to the point of making weird sounds as I was getting ready, and when we got there, there were only like 5 girls....
small crowd.
more people came later, but yeah...
had potluck dinner, attempted to have a dance (fail lawl), played for awhile, had a worship service with small group time after (also a fail because i was with a group of girls who did NOT want to focus on what we were supposed to be talking about), then went to jennifer's after realizing that 1. i had been up for 24 hours straight at that time, and 2. i didn't have proper sleeping gear for making up sleep for that long of a time.
*sigh*
then this morning had the brunch, was okay-ish. there are certain rules that one must follow when playing as white noise, and the father of the violinist didn't follow those rules, by doing a very loud acapella song during the meal.
the little girl that was the violinist was really good.
it was her parents that were getting on my nerves lawl.
it's all good though; went by fast, didn't have to play as much as i was planning on, and came home with a goodie basket.
speaking of goodies, got a bunch of papers at the awards ceremony friday morning. kinda funny when they were announcing college scholarships I had three versus the usual one lawl. and i lettered in knowledge bowl, finally. xDD
everything feels dirty and unorganized. the yard is a mess because of the rain, and somehow my brother got dirt all over the sidewalk, in plants, on the floor, on the doorknob, and completely covered the dog in it. and there's groceries and grocery bags everywhere, and the kitchen is a disaster because of all the crap that's being displaced from the painting, my brother finished a project in the living room so it's a mess in here, too..... gonk
so i'm trying to ignore it.
have a lot to focus on this weekend:
brit lit timeline, sketchup school, trig last chapter's homework and starting the new in order to reduce the amount of suffering in class, scholarship stuff, senior pics (finally got them lol), and somehow starting to gather stuff for some kind of display for graduation.
plus i need to prepare for the interview monday.
wondering what I should bring... know for sure my resume and SS#. but beyond that, i might bring some of my work from school and the like. wondering what I should wear. Black pants, but what top would be appropriate? I'm halfway tempted to go and buy a new dress shirt, but we'll see what happens.
got 7 hours of sleep last night, took a 5 hour nap today after the brunch, and i'm still tired. :S
maybe it's a reaction to everything.
*shrug*
well, supper's ready. wonder how that'll work.
