so, I have just played my first session of 4th edition last night. and I gotta say, it could be worse. the combat are certainly more excting. making a caracter was quick and easy and I didn't even know any of the rles at the time!
anywho, I've got a very nice character that I am highly proud of right now. I named him Storm Conner, and he's a Razorclaw Shifter Avenger (gonna go for Moonstalker racial Paragon Path at 11th). he uses a Battleaxe, a Throwing Axe, a Hand Crossbow, and now also a Dagger.

until end of encounter, attacks you make against the target are rolled twice and you take either result.

until end of encounter, target gains benefit of Oath of Enmity against your target of the Oath of Enmity.
Channel Divinity: Abjure Undead

Razorclaw Shifting

Oath of the Final Dual
Standard * Daily * Divine * Teleportation * Battleaxe
Target one creature
Attack +6 vs AC
Until the end of the encounter, if the target is more than 3 squares away from you at the start of your turn, you can teleport to a space within 3 squares of it as a minor action. This effect ends if you end your turn more than 3 squares away from the target.
Feats & Class Features
Escape Artist
+2 Acrobatics (already calculated) and can attempt to break out of a grab.
Armour of Faith
+3 AC when not wearing Heavy Armour or wielding a Shield. (already calculated)
Censure of Pursuit
if an enemy moved away from you of their own free will, you get +8 to damage against that enemy until the end of your next turn.
Skills
Acrobatics +15, Heal +11, Religion +7, Stealth +13.

so, anywho, I don't have much for a background figured out yet. I joined an ongoing campaign, and there wasn't much time for figuring that much out. most of teh group doesn't realy care about fluff at all, so it isn't encouraged or cared about and always gets blown through. I was hoping for some ideas to bounce around.
what I've got so far is that he was raised in a small rural community of other Shifters, Orcs, Elves, Humans and Halflings, and that they all share a common hatred for Goblins and Kobolds which keeps them from fighting amongst themselves overmuch. religions for Kord, Sehanine and the Raven Queen are most prevalent in this community and Storm worships Sehanine while paying alot of Homage and Respect also to the Raven Queen.
