A long time ago I finished Dogsong, by Gary Paulsen. It was pretty well done. I liked it.
Anyways, recently (just today) I finished GONE by Michael Grant. I liked the idea of no adults, kind of like Lord of the Flies (although i didnt really like that book) but, somehow these kids start having these magical powers, there is this unbreakable wall keeping them in, this guy has an evil twin.. It was too far-off for me. Too unreal, I guess. But, after you get used to the magicalness, it gets really good in the middle of the book. But then, towards the end, it just wasnt very original. Ooh this side vs. that side in a big battle scene, ooh. I wished it was better towards the end of the book, but other than that, I think it was alright. There is a sequel, but I dont think I want to read it. Nah, ill start reading Journey to River Sea instead. =]
