I walked slowly down the poorly lit hallway. The double door waiting in front of me seemed closer then i wanted it to be. The hallways was supposed to be sterile, but it almosted seemed dirty in the spooky darkness. It seems a lot darker then the hospitals on tv. The door was approching fast. I tried to slow my pace without completely stopping. I came up to the door and stopped with my hand half extended towards the door. What could be lurking behind these closed doors? This hospital seems awefully creepy. Just as i was pondering this thought there was a blood curtling screech that came from the other side of the doors. I streak or bright red liquid pelted the door. I incoherent sound was almost made out as a cry for help. I was pertrified. Just them my instincts kicked in and i spun around ready to bolt back to where i came from. Back out of the darkness and back out of this wreched place. When my eyes ajusted from the whirl i was shocked to find that the hallway I had just walked down was gone. Nothing was there but a solid tan wall. Like there had never been a hallway. On the wall was a short sentence written in a red liquid. It said, "no turning back now" My heart raced and my thoughts were clouded. I had nothing else to do. My body and mind didnt want to know my fate if i walked through those doors. So i searched vigourously for a reason not to sit here and wait for whatever that was to come get me. Then it hit me. The clouded cry for help. I forced myself to think i was going in there to help that poor girl even though i knew it was too late. I slamed through the doors and I was washed with bright lights. My eyes had been ajust to the dim light of the hallway so i was practically blinded by the brightness. Then, everything went dark. I heard a voice speak to me as I fought the urge to let go and slip away into the darkness and pain. I made out the works he was saying, " rest in peace little girl." Theres a sound. Like flesh tearing. Then there was pain. I shrieked. It sounded exactly like the girl who had cried from behind the closed door. I felt the blood sqirt out of my fresh cut and spray accros the room. It clicked instantly. It didnt make sense but i knew it was the only reasonable answer. It was me behind that door. This insane building knew my fate and showed it to me. Put right in front of my face, but i didnt see it. Therefore, as soon as i walked through that door, I sealed my own fate. I'm such an idiot. I let go and faded into the dark. I deserve to die for my stupidity.
