somewhere beyond the chimney tops we'll run...
where life is sweet and kind,
and no one in the world really knows.
OC christmas party was good~ x]
kinda funny at first i was absolutely dreading it (=bad mood in the morning), but once i actually got there it was all good. ^^ kinda felt out of place: Becca's parents' house has an indoor 9-ft deep pool (think hotel-pool sized) AND a good-sized hot tub, too... urrrh.
get there, eat food, go downstairs, eat more food, play apples to apples, then a game and a half of air hockey with Mitch, then watching the other half of that game and two(?) more with hannah vs him, then wander around until settling to watch a few episodes of spongebob, and ending the night by playing Imagine Iff or something with some peeps. ^^
IT'S COLD OUTSIDE.
the sun is screwing up my clock. It went down at like 4 or 5, so now I'm thinking it's midnight already. @.@
*thinks upon some stuff*
*yawn*
dumb dog got us all up at 9. heck, i didn't get to sleep until 1AM, so boo. :[
really feeling like pushing some keys now; hopefully no one's watching TV.
talked to karen about whether or not i should really pursue a clarinet scholarship. she encouraged me not to because she said I can't please everyone (mom is dead set on me trying w/ clari), and if I'm not happy with it, then it's just no use doing it. (FYI: i hate the clarinet's sound. the day I had to sign up for band, I cried on the way home because I wanted to play percussion sooooo bad, but all of the slots were full (and of preps, nonetheless) so picked my second choice and I wasn't sure if I made the right decision. don't get me wrong, I love band more than any other class in the books, but I just like it as a whole, not just because of clarinet.)
well, guess I'd better get going... take my contacts out, find some clean pj's (my other ones got all full of frosting from decorating cookies lol ^^), and finish my psych brain and decide how tomorrow's gonna go down.
only like 6 days until christmas break~ x]
Somewhere over the rainbow Way up high, There's a land that I heard of Once in a lullaby.
Somewhere over the rainbow Skies are blue, And the dreams that you dare to dream Really do come true.
Someday I'll wish upon a star And wake up where the clouds are far Behind me. Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me.
Somewhere over the rainbow Bluebirds fly. Birds fly over the rainbow. Why then, oh why can't I?
If happy little bluebirds fly Beyond the rainbow Why, oh why can't I?
