~9-15pm~
~a club outside of a small town (new york),packed with people,mostly teenage girls and their dates~


Ha'Rom peeked thru the curtain and sighed. ~of course SHE'S here...~he thought to himself.

His drummer Kayle approached him. "Lane is out there isnt she?"
Ha'Rom merely nodded and closed the curtain."She has yet to miss a show."
Kayle put his hand on Ha'Rom's shoulder."Come on my dear brother,She likes your music and she thinks your hot...give the poor child a chance at your heart.Whats the worst Lane can do?"
"She's a 17 year old girl,Kayle...im 23!!"
"Give her a shot,Rom."he said then walked out onstage to sut up his drums.


Lane came backstage a few minutes later holding Kayles hand and laughing at him.
"Kayle thank you so much!!"
"Anything for our most loyal of fans!"Kayle smiled.
"Where is Ha'rom?"
Kayle pointed to the room next to her."Just knock.If he yells at you call for me okay?"
Lane nodded and knocked on the door.


~15 minutes later Lane sat in Rom's dressing room holding a cup of hot chocolate in her hands while watching him practice on his guitar. Even though she didnt know it he glanced up every few seconds just to see her in that pretty pink and blue dress she wore to the concert.~

"Hey,Ha'Rom?"
"Call me Rom."
"Right....can i ask you something?"
Rom layed his guitar flat in his lap and looked up at her."Make it fast.Im on in 5."
"Can..."she looked down. "nevermind"
"you sure?"
she nodded and he stood and held his hand to her."Come sit next to me on stage,Lane."
"O-okay...!"she took his hand and followed him.


Lane watched Rom play 5 songs. The whole time his eyes never left hers and hers never left his. During the 6th song she looked down and watched his guitar and the wonderous way he played it.
~So smoothly...~she thought. ~Being this close i can see how he plays...he's so beautiful when he plays..so perfect...~

Rom's finger raised her chin up and he kissed her.it wasnt until she looked around that she realized it was just them and the concert had ended 3 songs ago.
Rom set his guitar in its stand next to him and pulled her close.
"Ive made up my mind about you,Lane."
"W-what have you decided,Rom?"
He kissed her passionately on her lips then pushed her away.
"I dont love you and im done playing my guitar."He turned and picked up his guitar and a permanent marker.He signed the guitar and her name then his own and flung the pen towards the seats off stage.Lane watched in amazement as he gave her the guitar and disappeared backstage


~October 23,2010 (Rom's birthday)~
Lane walked into Rom's room,His guitar...her guitar in her hands.She looked on the bed and sat down the guitar next to his body as tears fell down her cheeks.
"Im sorry i couldnt be your friend..and even more sorry i couldnt protect you.Your death is tragic to our people...."
Lane sat down on the floor next to him as she heard the police she had called for just seconds before."Rom..you were a great musician and i loved you...i was proud to know my heart went with you on stage every time you played,"she layed her head on the edge of the bed."Our world has fallen apart but in your death goes my heart,my sweet love."
Lane smiled and picked up the guitar and ran her hand over his signature."I love you,Ha'Rom Sheiru."She then pulled out the gun from her purse and shot herself as the police knocked on the front door of Ha'Rom's home.
