Kitsu chose. It was hard, but he chose.
It's been three days since Yukio gave him the news. And he finally came up with his decision. Now it was time to tell everyone.
Everyone was eating lunch in the yard. Tsuki was still there, and Kitsu was glad. He wanted her there when he told everyone.
Kitsu was watching them for a while from the kitchen window. Everyone seemed happy, but there was a bit of tension in Yukio and Tsuki. It was obvious enough for even Kita to notice.
"Tsuki-chan? Is everything okay?"
"Y-yeah! Why wouldn't it be?"
"Your not eating..." She gestured to tsuki's full bowl of ramen.
Tsuki picked up her chopsticks and began to eat. "See? I'm eating!"
Kita shrugged it off.
As Kitsu came out, everyone stopped what they were doing to look at him. Tsuki had immediatly jumped up to hug him. "Kitsu Senpai!" She grinned widely. She was extatic to see he was out of his room. And she was also kinda getting impatient with his answer.
Kitsu smiled and held Tsuki close, not allowing himself to let go of her until Kiyoko threw a peice of shrimp at him, telling him to let the poor girl breath. Kitsu responded with letting go of Tsuki, picking up a peice of sushi, and throwing it at his sister. Then he sat down.
"So, Kitsu. Have you made up your decision?" The older Aristole asked as he calmly ate his rice. He was praying in his mind he chose to marry the girl.
Kitsu nodded as Tsuki handed him a plate and started to fill it up for him. "I will marry her..." He noticed how Tsuki had stopped moving as she was in mid scoop of getting him some jello. "But... in six months... and if I like her or not... and Tsuki has to come with me."
"What?" Both Tsuki and Yukio asked.
Kitsu took a bite of macaroni salad and cleared his throat. "I wish to date her first." He emphasized the word 'date'. "And then if I enjoy being around her, I'll agree to marrying her, only if Tsuki comes along and which ever house I move in, most likely hers because her family is bigger, Tsuki must move with me."
Yukio sighed. "Kitsu, I hardly think it's fair."
But Tsuki thought it was completely fair. "Okay!" She said with a grin. "That means I can still play with Kitsu Senpai, right?"
"Yes." He smiled. "See, it all works out!"
"But what if your soon to be wife doesn't like that idea...?" Yukio asked. "You can't always have both, Kistu... you have to choose."
"I don't. Trust me, this is a flawless plan." He stood up and grabbed his plate. "If you'll excuse me." As he left to his room, he felt horrable. Maybe the plan wasn't such a good idea.
Yukio looked sadly down at Tsuki. "Tsuki-chan, how do you feel about this?"
"Huh?"
"Moving out of your house just to be with kitsu? Even if he won't marry you?"
"I like it." Tsuki said smiling. "As long as I get to stay with Kitsu- Senpai, I'm perfectly happy." That was a lie. She didn't want to move out of her home and move to the sand village where it's all hot and sweaty. She didn't want to live with Kitsu and his wife. She was sure if it happened, she would be stuck as the random person in the corner. Or given a job as the nanny for their children. Their children... not her children... But it was a price to pay if she wanted to stay with Kitsu.
Yukio sighed. "Tsuki... maybe you should go home... back to Sasuke and Kaoru... Atleast for tonight... There's going to be a lot of yelling tonight."
"Don't hurt Senpai." Tsuki frowned. "Can Kita and Kiyoko spend the night with me?"
"That would be best. Yes."
"Okay. C'mon guys, let's pack." They all left Yukio alone to think. Kitsu was in for it tonight.
((yes I realize this one was shorter. I was brain dead.))
