As we get older we learn to just live and deal with our family, but when do they start to realize your an adult and capable of putting imput in "family decisions". My uncle passed away Halloween night 4 years ago and this year is my first year not being depressed and actually feeling things and so I asked could we not have a memorial for him this year and just celebrate the holiday like we use to, my grandmother said sure ok but then yesterday her daughter comes waltzing in like the queen of america she always thinks she is and says lets have one and call your friends and see who could come and sets it up without even considering I might actually have a say in it and I hate to break it to them but if they decide to do this I will not be attending, I'll go out or stay in my room but I WILL NOT GO!! I asked politely and I was told ok, sure but since her daughter who rules the whole damn world and if not the world at least our family said lets have well we're having one, don't these people realize its going to be hard enough as it is, not everyone wants to be around people grieving. Ugh sorry about ranting in here but not many places to rant since not a lot of people listen or care to listen anymore....
