I hear the demons say with a slight laugh,
That my life will be but a demise.
I climb the mountain for my other half,
And the second to last thing to see are the skies.

I find you perched on your rock,
I see a blackening aura around you and me.
It seemed time stopped when our eyes hit lock,
As i asked you, who is he.

You say to me with the slightest ease,
He is but of course my replacement.
A shock ripples as i failed to please,
Seeing as though pain in my body of which was sent.

I felt those words rise in my throat,
As you beat me to them without a broken hew.
Right as my heart seems to float,
The last thing i hear is i hate you.

I tear up as i wish it be wrong,
My mind dies and i slowly fall.
The plummet seemed like my last song,
Wishing i was then able to crawl.

As i slowly shift in the air,
I feel myself letting loose a thousand cries.
That skin looking so fair,
Then realizing before death it is a demon in disguise.
