Kristoff stood there in amazement as he watched this girl play her guitar with such smoothness and gentleness. She held it like a new born baby, close and loving. Once she stopped playing, Kristoff could not help but clap. This made the girl jump and fall off of the stool and flat onto her butt. “Ow!” she cried. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to frighten you.” Kristoff said getting up onto the stage and helping her up. Before he could grab her hand she recoiled away and stood up with her guitar. “Why are you here?” she asked looking at him straight in the eye as if she were confronting an enemy in battle. “I heard you playing. You were great.” Kristoff said with a slight smile. The girl looked away and put her guitar away in its case. After that she picked up the case and began to walk out. “Wait! Why are you leaving?” Kristoff asked fallowing her close behind. “It’s none of your concern. Now please leave me be.” And with that the strange girl walked out, leaving Kristoff alone in the abandoned Theatre.
~Music in Math~
“Kristoff, over here!” Kristoff turned and saw his friends Melody, Jeff, and Parker sitting in the back on the class room. He began to walk over to them, but tripped over something. Kristoff caught himself and did a back flip and stared at his least favorite person. Josh Keller, the football team’s quarter back and supposedly hunk of the school. “Hey freak, have a nice fall?” Josh asked. Kristoff just glared as Josh and his jock friends as they all high fived each other. “Alright class, take your seats. Class is starting.” Their teacher announced as she walked into the classroom. Kristoff sat in the back with his friends while everyone else took their seats.
“Are you ok Kristoff?” Melody asked with a look of concern. Kristoff smiled and said “Yea. It’ll take more the Josh’s flimsy foot to hurt me.” “Where were you last period? We saved a seat for you.” Parker asked. “Sorry. I got distracted.” Kristoff said staring to stare off into space. He couldn’t stop thinking about the girl from the theatre. Everything about her was a mystery. The way she played her guitar, the wave of her hair, but most of all, those blue Caspian eyes. They seemed to be burned into his mind. Just before he could be pulled any deeper into his thoughts, Kristoff was brought back into reality when his teacher clapped to get the class’s attention. “Good morning everyone.” The teacher said. “Morning.” The class replied in non unison. “We have a very busy schedule today, but first I’d like to introduce our new member to the class. Come on in dear.”
The classroom door opened and all heads turned towards the new comer. Kristoff hadn’t bothered to look up, for he was too busy drawing on his note book. “Whoa! She’s hot.” Jeff whispered to his friends. Kristoff rolled his eyes. Any girl that Jeff thought was hot, ended up being a blonde with too short of a shirt, high heels, and showed way too much of herself. “Class, this is Raven Taylor. She’s a transfer from Romania!” And of course the wave of gossip and whispers began to flow through the classroom. Kristoff rolled his eyes again, and just as he was scanning the room his eyes locked on the new girl. “It’s her…from the theatre.” Kristoff said thinking out loud. “You know her?” Parker asked never taking his eyes off Raven. “Yeah. I bumped into her in the hall.” Kristoff said. He couldn’t believe his eyes. The one girl he’d just been thinking of was now in his Math class. “I expect everyone to treat her with respect and make her feel comfortable.” The teacher said. “Oh, I’ll defiantly make her feel right at home.”
Josh said with a sly grin. All his friends gave him high fives and pats on the back. “Enough Mr. Keller. You can take a seat right over there Raven.” The teacher showed her to her seat, which was diagonal to Kristoff’s right side. Raven nodded and just as she walked to her seat, she noticed Kristoff and almost froze in place, but she continued to walk to her desk and lowered her eyes to the floor. “Alright class, now if you’ll all take out your text books and turn to page 34 we’ll get started.” The teacher said as she began to teach the class. But Kristoff wasn’t paying any attention to the board or the class. In fact he’d forgotten about everyone, except him and Raven. What was it about her that he couldn’t keep her out of his mind? Just before he could have any even time to think, the bell rang for the next period.

“Dude, that Raven chick is H.O.T. Hot!” Josh said as Kristoff and his friends waited in line to get their lunch. “I actually agree with Josh this time. She was very much indeed hot.” Parker said as he grabbed himself a sandwich. “She looked alright. I mean, she did look kind of weird. Wearing all black and all that jazz. I mean, who wears all black on a sunny warm day?” Melody said as she grabbed a drink. “I don’t care. She can wear black any day.” Josh said paying for his lunch. “What about you Kristoff? What did you think about the new girl?” Parker asked as they all took their seats. “She seems nice.” Kristoff said as he took a bite out of his sandwich. As his friends talked amongst themselves Kristoff went back to thinking about her. Raven…Raven Taylor. For some odd reason that name sounded so oddly familiar to him, yet he didn’t know why.

“Mom, I’m home!” Kristoff called as he entered into his home. “In the kitchen, Honey!” He smiled, threw his bag onto the floor and walked towards the kitchen. There, he saw his lovely mother in the exact place he’d left her in this morning. He kissed her cheek and hugged her from behind. “Hello my wonderful mother!” Kristoff said with a smile. His mother giggled and kisses his cheek. “Hello to you to my wonderful son. How was school?” she asked getting back to her cooking. “Eh. Same old, same old.” Kristoff said sitting down on the chair. “That’s not what I heard.” His mother said giving him the look that said that she knew something more was going on then he’d led on. Kristoff just sighed and said “There’s a new girl at our school. Raven Taylor.” Just saying her name was like saying words that were forbidden, and as if his mother could read his thoughts, she gave him an eye of interest. “You say her name so gently Kristoff. She must be quiet a beauty to have her catch your eye.” She said with a smile. “Mom, seriously, we both know that you are the only woman for me.” Kristoff said and gave his mom a wink. She laughed a little and shook her head. “As much as I’m flattered by that darling, we also know that one day you’re going to find your soul mate, and you’ll never want to leave her side.” His mother said and looked at him with hope, joy, and a hint of sadness. He didn’t like the feeling of finding his “soul mate” and leaving his mother all alone. He just couldn’t bare it. Besides, with the way girls were these’s days, Kristoff wasn’t going to get any girl, much less find his soul mate. He didn’t mind being alone forever. As long as he had his mother, he could live alone for all his life, for all he cared. “Honey, can u come taste this? I wanna make sure it’s perfect.” His mother asked spooning a lil bit of the pasta she was cooking. Kristoff got up and walked over to her and took a taste of the food. He smiled and hugged him mother again saying “Chef Amanda has done it again!”
