Getting a dog is a life changing decision. Your schedule will change. You have to get up early even on the weekends. Walking your dog at least once a day. Remembering the scheduled feedings and potty breaks. Teaching your friend tricks and to be potty trained. Teaching it not to bite at your family member's ankles.
It's big.
Most people don't have want it takes for dog ownership. Be it money or time; dogs rely on us for it all.
