D8 Eleanor no!

Eleanor: *is tending to some customers at her shop* Thank you and please come again, the shop appreciates your business! ^_^

Customer: No, thank you! You make the best candies! Especially the Caramel Mints!

Eleanor: Hehe, I didn't make those, my best friend, Max, did. He should get all the credit...although he isn't here right now...: <

Customer: Well, you can tell this Max fella that his candy is wonderful! Anyway, I gotta get goin, seeya tomorow, Eleanor! *waves*

Eleanor: Goodbye! *waves back* I'll tell Max for you!

Uncle Zachary: *comes in lookin all smug and old and stuffs* Goodmorning, Eleanor.

Eleanor: Hm? *looks up* .... *frowns* Goodmorning...Uncle Zachary....

Uncle Zachary: *looks around at the shop to see it's well maintained, glances at the mints and scoffs* We're selling mints now?

Eleanor: Uhhh, yes? They're CARAMEL Mints, they're very popular lately. They're delicious. Why don't you try one?

Uncle Zachary: I'm sure anything you make is delicious. *pops one in his mouth* Mmm, as expected, your candy is to die for. *grin*

Eleanor: Well, actually, I didn't make those...a...friend of mine did.

Uncle Zachary: Oh?

Eleanor: Yes. A very good friend of mine who made some for me and then gave me permission to sell them at the shop.

Uncle Zachary: And does this friend get financial recognition without my knowing?

Eleanor: Um...well...I try to, but I use money out of my own pocket because I know you'd be upset if I, um, used some of the shop earnings...

Uncle Zachary: Good. *looks around some more and then walks up to her counter, pushes Tec aside wtih his foot* Move aside, mutt!

Tec: *whines*

Eleanor: *picks Tec up* Don't kick him! *cuddles Tec* .....Was there a reason why you came? *is irritated*

Uncle Zachary: Yes, these is. Have you given thought to my proposal?

Eleanor: : < Oh...that...well...I...I...I don't know.

Uncle Zachary: You don't know?

Eleanor: No, I don't. You're my father's brother. It's so inappropriate and I already have some feelings for someone else....

Uncle Zachary: *rage!* Let me remind you, dear niece, that I hold your father's home, career, and this shop in my hands. *says through gritted teeth*

Eleanor: You wouldn't!

Uncle Zachary: *grabs her face with one hand and squeezes it a little* Oh but I would, dear Eleanor. If I don't get what I want, then why should you and your parents keep what they want? That makes absolutely no sense at all. As far as your feelings for someone else, I'm hoping you're not referring to that wretched Dark Elf are you? He's so unclean and does not belong in today's society. Surely you wouldn't stoop so low as to have feeling for such a pathetic creature, right?

Eleanor: *face gets red with anger* You're hurting me...

Tec: *whines*

Uncle Zachary: *lets go*

Eleanor: *rubs face and glares* And don't you dare talk about my friend like that! He is very much clean and belongs in a society above this biggot hellhole! And what if it's Max that I feel for? Hm? You nor anyone else can change what my heart feels! Do you understand me?!

Uncle Zachary: I understand. I understand that you're selfish enough to let everyone else suffer because of your silly infatuation with the Dark Elf. Very well then, I suppose Thomas will do well as a beggar on the streets. Not like his or Gerard's stocks with Gambino will go anywhere anyway.

Eleanor: D8 No!

Uncle Zachary: *goes to leave*

Eleanor: Wait a second, please!

Uncle Zachary: M'yes?

Eleanor: : < I...I'll marry you. Just don't throw my parents out on the street...please!

Uncle Zachary: I'm relieved to know you can see things my way. With a little persuasion of course. *takes her hand and kisses the back of it*

Eleanor: *squirms uncomfortably* Yeah...I suppose.

Tec: *whines some more and looks up at a sad Eleanor*
