Being Human:
That Mitchell is a toothsome morsel despite his hygiene issues. Do none of the Vampires bathe or change their clothes? I'm looking at you, Daisy. no wonder the wolves have no trouble smelling their body odor. George: bad boyfriend or worst boyfriend? The contrast between the POC Erasure in Doctor Who and the matter of fact POC inclusion in Being Human was particularly striking when they are next to each other like that. I love that the people in it aare ordinary person looking instead of Hollywood looking. I love that Nina clearly has natural breasts and a neck too short for her shoulders, and that you can see the light through George's ears and that their size and shape makes him look slightly wolfish from the side even when he's human. I love that Annie references Buffy to cheer Nina up. I love the imperfections of the characters and the lived in look of the set design. I love they address the nastiness and sexism in hospital and the clear crappiness of the jobs. It's done in this lovely naturalistic style which works so beautifully with the supernatural content.
