特別なペット
"special pets"
After arriving in the living room, I sat down, already tired from the current events. I was surprised that I didn't have a heart attack from the amount of shock I was put through buy oh well.
"So how long are you staying?" Jun asked, jumping onto the couch stretching out beside me.
"A few moths? I don't know." I replied, I kind of spaced out when the guy was talking.
Jun's face was covered by his smile now, "awesome!" He said, his tail wagging but then he was pushed off the couch.
"That's my spot you filthy mutt." A new voice now, so I looked up then over as the new comer replaced Jun. He looked at me with his brownish orange eyes, then smiled a bit before looking at the TV. "You will be fun."
After I finished examining his orange messy hair, and fox ears with black tips, I looked back at his face. "What's that supposed to mean?" I demanded, by now i was kind of getting used to see these weird people.
"Nothing." The guy replied shrugging a bit.
"I was sitting there Yoichi..." Jun whined.
"How would it be nothing if you were the one to say it, smiling!" I added, crossing my arms.
"What are you talking about?" He looked at Jun and stuck his tongue out at him.
"What you said." I replied.
"What did I say?"
"That I would be fun." I was starting to get annoyed.
"You will be." He smirked.
"So you do remember." I thought I had won but...
"Remember what?"
"Will you two shut up?" Kage hissed from the other couch, turning up the volume of the TV so I stood up and left, feeling the new guy's eyes one me and heard him laugh.
"whatever." I muttered and entered the kitchen, all this frustration was making me hungry, and so I opened the fridge and once again gawked. I examined the variety of foods from yogurt, to meat, and so many drinks like soda and juice, and fruit and cakes. It was crazy!
I took out a soda, too overwhelmed from how much food there was in there, then
closed the fridge and looked over as Yoichi passed me and opened another cooler by the fridge.
"What are you doing?" I asked, even though it was obvious.
The guy looked at me, still smirking and opened the cooler. "What does it look like I'm doing?" He replied, picking up a bottle and looked at it.
"You're getting a drink...." I replied, looking at the bottle, I didn't know there were more things in there... "Wait.." I said, "is that alcohol?" I asked, wondering if he was allowed to have it.
"Yes." He said, "I see master drink it all the time so I'm assuming that there's nothing wrong with it." He examined the bottle a bit more then search for another.
"But I don't think you should drink it." I said, wondering if he really did not know what that stuff would do to him.
"I'll do what I want, whenever I want, and how I want to." Yoichi said smiling then closed the cooler, the bottle still in his hand. "So if you want to stop me you can try." He stepped closer to me and leaned forward, "I bet you that you cant." He grabbed my wrist before I tried to back away. "See?"
"Let go!" I said, trying to pull away, "I will kick you!" I threatened and he laughed.
"You're too weak." He mused then looked over as someone tugged on his shirt.
"Yoichi-kun..." His voice sounded so young, much younger than the others.
Great another?" I asked myself, looking at the new person only to have my heart melted by how cute he was. Curly gold blond hair, big red doe eyes, fluffy looking bunny ears on his head. Shota!! Was my first thought, and I was so distracted I forgot that Yoichi was still holding my wrist.
"Please don't hurt her.." The boy said sweetly, looking up at Yoichi with those big eyes that made Yoichi look away.
"Fine." Yoichi scoffed, dropping my wrist and walked out quickly, keeping the bottle with him. "I'm still drinking this!" He added.
I rubbed my wrists softly then looked at the boy and smiled, "thank you." He was my height, thin and cute as hell. I just wanted to hug him until he exploded, then-
"Any time." He replied, smiling cutely then took my hand gently, lifted it and placed his other small hand over my wrist. "Does it hurt a lot?" He asked, obviously concerned.
I blinked and looked at his hands. "Umm... Not that much, I'm sure it'll be fine!" I replied quickly, then looked at the boy. "Don't worry about me."
He nodded and looked me in the eyes again. "I'm Usagi, what's your name?" He asked, tilting his head a bit.
"I'm Tamashi Midori." I replied, "but just call me Midori."
"Nice to meet you Midori-chan!" He smiled happily and let go of my wrist gently and took my other hand, " let's go to the others I'm sure Yoichi will apologize now." He reassured me and looked at the fox bow when we entered the living room.
I looked at all the boys, was that all? Or should I expect more? Maybe more like Usagi.. I think I would die from cuteness overload.
Usagi coughed a bit and pocked Yoichi's head, "you have something to say to Midori-chan." He said, pulling me closer towards him so I could get a clear view of Yoichi's annoyed expression.
"Why?" He asked,taking a sip from the bottle.
Usagi smiled, "because if you don't I'll lock you out of the house and leave you to the wild animals out there." He replied.
"And if I do?" Yoichi added, glancing at me.
"You can drink all that stuff that you want tonight." He replied and I looked at the boy confused.
"It's a deal." Yoichi said then looked at me. "Sor-"
Usagi slapped his head and let go of my hand. "Get up and say it like you mean it." He demanded, and I smiled widely now.
Kage was snickering on the couch and Jun was watching curiously.
Yoichi sighed, stood and faced me, about to speak again but Usagi interrupted him.
"On your knees."
Kage burst into a fit of laughter at that comment, and I couldn't contain my smile. Even though Usagi was so adorable, I already got to see his mean streak, which was fun since he had control of Yoichi in an amazing way... Which made me curious.
Yoichi muttered something I couldn't hear and he got onto his knees and looked up at me, glancing at Usagi.
"Now take her hand, and apologize like you truly mean from deep within your cold little heart." He said, looking over at Jun who was trying to to laugh.
Yoichi hesitate but then took my hand gently, looked up at me, his eyes kept looking away. "Tamashi Midori..." He said softly, and just at that moment I wanted to pull away and fall to the floor laughing, and at the same time I think my face began to flush.. What the hell!
"I am so sorry..." He spoke gently, now looking me in the eyes, "I'm so sorry that I hurt you, I promise not to do it again..."
By now I felt like I was in one of those soap operas, during a dramatic scene before the guy would then stand and kiss the one he wa- Oh god. "Okay I accept! I accept!" I said pulling away, turning and crossed me arms, pretending like I was laughing but truly my face was on fire from that last thought.
"Good." Yoichi said, "I thought you was going to cry." He teased, "but as long as I get to drink more of this stuff!" He sat back down on the couch ignoring the the other two pointing and laughing at him.
"I don't think I've ever seen you so sensitive!" Kage exclaimed, "have you been practicing because that was perfect!"
"You would make a good actor!" Jun chuckled, meeting Kage's glance then they both began to laugh hysterically.
Usagi watched me, "A little longer and I would've had him hug you.." He sighed, "maybe next time."
"There will be no next time." Yoichi scoffed, placing the bottle down on the coffee table before getting up to go get another.
By then I felt cooler so I looked at Usagi, "you're going to let him drink?" I asked.
Usagi nodded, smiling kindly at me and took the soda from my hand since I was gripping it very tightly. "Of course, what's a better punishment than a big hangover the next morning." He replied, opening the soda for me, "and I will hide all the pills." He giggled and handed the bottle to me.
I smiled, taking the soda. "Thanks, and I thought you were so innocent." I laughed, a little embarrassed from saying such a thing. "but everyone has a hidden side." I said taking a drink.
"Really?" Usagi asked, looking over at the TV. "Then what's you're hidden side?" He asked, looking at me and I stopped drinking. "Kidding, I wont make you tell me." He said, "now let's wait for Yoichi to get drunk."
I nodded and walked over to the couch. "Sounds like a plan."
