During Project OICW (Objective Individual Combat Weapon) in the early 1980s by the United States Army, To replace the M16 Variants with newer equipment. The Project continuously followed as an ACR (Advanced Combat Rifle). The central idea of the program was to develop a rifle that enabled the attacking of targets behind cover by using airburst munitions. The munitions were to be much smaller than pre-existing grenades and grenade launchers, but large enough to be effective. The idea was refined into a combination of a short assault rifle and semi-automatic, low-velocity cannon firing air-bursting munitions. The OICW aimed to use advances in computer technology in a weapon that fired grenades automatically pre-set to explode above or beside targets hidden from view. Fragmentation from the exploding grenades would defeat the target when normal rifle fire would be ineffective.
By the early 2000s, the weapon had settled on a design and was classified as the XM29. The XM29 was based on a the HK CAW (Close Assault Weapon) (Cal. 18.5 x 76 or 12 Gauge non-conventional). However, the weapon had serious problems - it did not meet weight or cost targets, and the 20 mm XM1019 High Explosive Air Bursting (HEAB)did not seem to be lethal enough in testing. To compound matters, the kinetic-energy component had to be light and short in length. As a result the 5.56x45mm NATO barrel had a length of only 250mm(9.8 inches), which is too short to generate enough muzzle velocity to be effective. It was also too heavy and too large to be operated effectively by a soldier.
This resulted in the army starting development on new weapons, and finally shelving the XM29 in 2004. The kinetic energy component split off into the XM8 rifle program and the airburst component developed into the XM25 airburst weapon. According to a presentation by Major Kevin Finch, Chief of the Small Arms Division of the Directorate of Combat Developments at the U.S. Army Infantry Center, there were three main parts to the OICW program.
Increment 1 (OICW 1) was a competition for a whole weapon system family similar to the XM8. The weapon system was to potentially replace the M4 carbine, M16 rifle, M249 light machine gun and some M9 pistols. Other arms companies had contended that the OICW project goals had changed enough to warrant another competition. Potential challengers could include a weapons system based on an updated M16, the Steyr AUG, the aforementioned FN SCAR, and potentially any other manufacturer that fulfilled the Army requirements for participating. It also listed the shotgun being replaced by a modular shotgun system (XM26 LSS) mounted on the OICW 1 winner.
The Increment 1 portion was put on an eight-week hold in July 2005, primarily to take into account input and needs of other services. On October 31, 2005, the OICW I program was canceled. The reason given for the cancellation was stated as: "This action has been taken in order for the Army to reevaluate its priorities for small caliber weapons, and to incorporate emerging requirements identified during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Government will also incorporate studies looking into current capability gaps during said reevaluation."
OICW Increment 2 was a stand-alone airburst weapon (the (XM25). This is a standalone launcher that uses bigger 25 mm munition, and was intended to be a special applications and support weapon, not an individual combat weapon as previous models were. In 2005, the weapon underwent limited field trials and combat testing.
OICW Increment 3 was the XM29. The M203 was listed as being replaced by a combination of Increments 2 and 3. The M249 was also to be partially replaced by a lightweight MG (LMGA, now LSAT), which was listed as being the successor to the M60 and M240.

In the aftermath of the ACR program, the OICW program began. There were two main contenders, one design by AAI and its companies, and the other by ATK (with H&K and other companies); ATK and H&K won.

As 2010 rounded the Corner Developers Found sources with small Military Companies, Such as Lockheed, and Northrop and Grumman. These Companies also Introduced New Suits of Body Armory for Special Tactical Units or SpecTACTs. SpecTACTs were a Different design in layout, composition and Theory. Body Armor that could stop Bullets from outside a mile was only one theory. SpecTACT also required increase in Training, as well as physical development. SpecTACT Shown Promise in the Top Brass. The OICW Program was Discarded at the Most part Taking some Designs and Applying them To newer more modified weapons such as the Helm Von Kevlin Raptor or HvK Raptor, Which was Heavily Modified from the Original ancestor the French Fusil d'Assaut de la Manufacture d'Armes de Saint-Étienne or "Assault rifle of the Saint-Étienne weapon factory. (AKA FAMAS) It was compact and lighter, carried the same capacity as ammo but packed a sufficient punch to succeed without much casualties.
SpecTACT Program, Project Warlord funded by CROW (Combat Ready Optimal Weaponry) Industries Was The overhaul of NATO weapons and US Military weapons for the New Government USAA. It was a Complete Redesign of top rifles, handguns, etc. Down to what ammunition it was carrying.

Hand guns:
~Predator ZX-3 Handgun: Standard issued for all ANUBIS Corp. individuals. holding a 15 round clip and is capable of stopping anything dead in it's tracks. It's Semi automatic fire gives it less of a recoil then most guns, It is a preferred hand gun to some Operatives.
The 2212 Ikarus features a built in laser sight, three bore muzzle pressure escape to reduce blowback and muzzle jump, It is a .45 caliber handgun with decent reliability but is known to jam due to the slide design. The 2212 Ikarus is semi automatic holding 11 rounds. There is no safety for this gun so be careful of accidental discharge.
The TERRAN .50 Caliber handgun is the latest type of desert eagle in many cases. It's smooth handle makes for a good solid grip and its sanded slide makes for an easy pinch and pull to c**k. Over all this gun is very handy on the field however the recoil makes it difficult to use for smaller soldiers. Alot of forearm strength is needed to fire this gun with one hand.
The TA 9mm handgun is a fully automatic handgun only housing 15 shots...the user must be a quick reloader in order to be efficient with this gun however it is easily handled with one hand even at full auto with good accuracy. It also features a built in laser sight and Fore-grip handle
The Rough House .45 is a tactical handgun with built in red scope and laser sight. its muzzle jump is a bit unworldly unless used with two hands. its stopping power is rivaled only by the .50 cal TERRAN it is the best friend to many and the enemy to all looking down its barrel.
The Ergrassa Shotgun Pistol is well known as being a devastating weapon, its main use is close combat seeing that the muzzle is small, it fires four shells simultaneously or two at a time. Its design breaks at the top allowing the user to reload from there some can be modified for speed loading but again..it is meant for close quarters
The M.K. 34 is a rather spunky little handgun with full auto capacity and a 20 round clip which locks in at the back its rate of fire is formidable however this weapon can jam easily as well due to said rate of fire.
the Syphon magnum features a new found design to fire rounds, instead of using a hammer there is a rechargeable battery in the handle which produces an electric charge that heats the round to fire off..its distinct firing noise makes it that much more known when used. it too has escapes on the side of the barrel to allow muzzle pressure to escape. It breaks at the top as well for reloading and can be loaded with .45 rounds, explosive rounds, and plasma darts.however over use with plasma rounds will destroy the barrel. keep that in mind

"Bull Pup" LMG:
The Bull Pup was created for standard units as a "on field advantage" The name is commonly confused with the design of a rear clip gun. Serving it's name it's small, light and shows it's deadly capabilities.

P-13 THUD: Also known as Elmer THUD, it has a handgun like cocking mechanism to pull back in a smooth slide. able to use four types of rounds for it's firing style. It's lethal punch gave it the alias of THUD
Business Brief SMG: A MAC like SMG concealed within a thin steel case. Press a eject button and it slides open to reveal it's payload. able to fire 9mm rounds at a considerable quick rate. Usually used by Bodyguards and some High Rank Military Officials.
HvK Raptor, Its design is derived from the french FAMAS with a few modifications. It houses a built in ACOG scope in between the top bar. Its 30 round clip makes for a good time amount without reloading. This weapon features a retracting stock and built in laser sight. uses a 7.56 round, often used with the EPIC A1.
S.U Talon this weapon has a compact design which has a unique magazine feed located in the end of the looped handle and feeds at an angle upward. its small design makes it easy to maneuver and easy to carry since it is light. Hardly jams with how it is fed, blowing back the jammed shell to further fire.
Sniper rifles:
CheyTac INTERVENTIONStandard issue Sniper Rifle of ANUBIS Corporation, able to fire it's projectiles up to two miles, penetrate wood, thin metal, and Concrete. Nicknamed Eagle Eye for it's reticules accuracy. A Premium choice for stand by snipers.
~Vektor 22 HV Sniper Rifle: A high Velocity sniper rifle that has recently came into service by CROW Incorporated It's small slick design was for urban sniping or "On the go" Sniping. holding a clip to about 15 left this more of a single shot rifle then a sniper. The Scope built to the gun was linked to a camera feed from the helmet, for snipers to fire from impossible positions. Rivals the HellStorm and often debated over with snipers.
The HellStorm rifle packs a wonderful punch and is a delight for snipers in general. its folding stock makes for easy carrying. built in scope is cybernetic linked to the HUD of any soldier who calibrates it attuned to their personal frequency. in a pinch this rifle can fire anti tank rounds with the aid of a gyro recoil resistor. If you aren't careful with this gun, it can break your shoulder.
Explosives:
HE grenades produce a high explosive range pull the pin and throw, may also "bake" the grenade for a shorter time frame until the explosion.
Ion Grenades: Standard for Anubis infantry. These grenades utilize plasma as well as ion energy for an impressive splash explosion. Two settings hit the larger middle button to activate a 5 second count until detonation, Hold the button down until the glowing core changes from blue to red for proximity mine where in the enemy comes within certain range before the grenade detonates careful your proximity mine doesn't differentiate from ally or foe so if you set it don't return to it or you might get caught in an ion splash
Blades:
Combat Knife perfectly balanced for throwing made of titanium steel alloy, It was commonly Issued for a quick access on the chest area.
High Frequency Blade: A blade Tempered to endure harsh attacks and blocks. Able to retract for sheathing. A blade that is Standard for ANUBIS Spec Ops Units.
Paladin Havoc Blade: One Of the Lineages few privileged weapons of Choice, usually worn by Officers or High ranks. It's swift and light to handle, very devastating in it's attacks.
Misc. Items:
Grapple Recon droid, was first bought as a recon droid. it's small gun was used as an anti infantry counter measure, standing about 2 fight high by 2.5 feet long, it was used to clear rooms before a unit was to enter.
Scarab Attack Recon droid, used as a scout droid in the field to survey areas of possible threat. Small able to fit in the hand. usually linked to the HUD for free handed use. It has a Defensive countermeasure. to explode if need be.
Chaser Drone: Based off its larger piloted model this drone is an advance and attack droid often seen in the field to aid soldiers. Alas a fatal flaw that has been worked on relentlessly is its horrible ability to be hacked from experienced computer engineers. If the enemy were to have someone skilled they could easily turn the tide
As a Result to Having Project Warlord, Project Phalanx by Sena-Lyon Exo-Skeleton's Ltd. in April of 2090 this Was the Beginning Development for New Age armor that would protect Front Line Soldiers from further harm. Sena-Lyon Believed that a Soldier is Developed from the Ground up and wasn't primarily based on what Gun was carried in hand. Early Development of Exo- Skeleton Suits shown promise as it further progressed through aging. at The Start of 2200 USAA had full funded the SpecTACT Program as well as project Phalanx and Warlord. Putting it's weapons into Service for Field Operation as well as for Corporations and Para Military groups such as ANUBIS and RavenX Technical Designs. Their Security forces needing adequate armor as well as weapons were funded by the Two projects during the SpecTACT program.
