wow it's been awhile since i posted an entry in my journal, well abandoning the Crisis Core fanfic for now here is something a little different, Read and Review, and enjoy all.

Research Logbook
Entry: 0325801 Date: Jan. 13, 22XX

Again, another fruitless day in creating a new type of battle reploid, however the Hunters still seem optimistic that I can create such a reploid to help them bring an end to the Maverick War.

I seem to of stumbled upon something however, and with Roz's help I think that I can create a new type of reploid, however there are still problematic issue's of creating a strong enough body as well as a Drive Core for it.

Roz still seems to obsess over the loss of his family, I think he's going mad, well whatever it's none of my concern anyways, as long as he still continues to help me create this new battle reploid for the government.

Entry: 0325802 Feb. 1, 22XX

We have come up with a new design for the next generation battle reploid, we still have to come up with a name for this project, however I think we'll be able to build the prototype soon.

Some issues still remain on the Drive Core, we have managed to create one that outputs several times higher than sample data we have of Maverick Hunter X. However there are massive stability issues, if something were to go wrong and the core self-destructed it could very well take out several city streets with it, as indicated by Roz's simulation.

Roz as also dropped out of my team to do some independent research on a new type of reploid to be as a sort of "support" unit for my reploid, bah what insolence, once my reploid is finished it will pave the way for a new era of battle reploids, ones that are unable to go "Maverick".

Entry: 0325803 Mar. 28, 22XX

I've done it! Against all odds I've managed to stabilize the Drive Core for my reploid project! And what's more is I have new samples that I can apply to my research on creating the perfect reploid.

I've also presented my results to the government and they have agreed to fund the project, very soon my prototype will be complete thanks to their generous donation.

Entry: 0325804 April 3, 22XX

"He's" complete I finished his body a lot soon than expected, I've run several diagnostic tests on his body and core and everything seems to be in check.

I'm going to run several more simulations and tests on him before I awaken him, this may take longer than the government is willing, however we cannot afford for anything to go wrong.

Entry: 0325805 Sept. 15, 22XX

A disaster! A complete and utter disaster! My research lab was attacked by mavericks and all of the data was nearly lost! However we still have him and the back up data, we are currently being relocated to the Siberian Alps to continue with our research, the sub-zero climate may be of some concern however, but I look at the possibilities of cold containment storage for new test subjects.

Roz also seems concerned about a piece of data that I have shown him on my reploid's Drive Core, apparently the stability issue remains... Albeit only a 1.3218096% chance exists that his core will go unstable and cause a catastrophic accident.

Entry: 0325806 Date: July 4, 22XX

It's been nearly a year since we have been relocated, and my research has ground to a complete halt, for one reason and one reason alone, his drive core nearly had a melt down, we barely shut it down in time, we are going to need to find an alternate source of energy, one that is slightly more stable to use, but one that is powerful enough to outstrip those of the current reploid drive cores used by the Maverick Hunters.

Roz has also managed to create a base for his own reploid's design, and no less has completed a prototype, her name is Kureru, she is an interesting reploid with unnatural hacking skills seeing as she cracked the security on my lab where I am keeping my reploid stored.

Also on another side note we have hooked him into the facilities energy supply to try and perfect him while we research a new energy source.
