The Shadow People

A long time ago when I was only seven or eight, I started seeing people walk around my house. The people had black cloaks that would cover their whole entire body, so I started calling them shadow people. They would start showing them self to me when I'm all alone. They would walk around my house, then they would disapper. I would watch them in fear, but then one day I gathered up the courage to talk to one of the shadow people. I aproached the shadow person and said,"Hello." The shadow person stopped walking, then looked at me. I couldn't see it's face because it was covered with a cloak. Then it vanished out of thin air. I just stood their surprised, but scared at the same time. Now I stopped seeing the shadow people, but now I have a horrible fear of the dark, scary things and being alone.
