Why does my favorite minor character always die halfway through prologue? I kid, it's not always, but my favorite minor characters seem to like kicking buckets. I started reading The Vampire Genevieve which is part of the wonderful Warhammer books. But anyway, I'm reading the prologue and I really like the Warlock because who doesn't, they're über cool. And then. He explodes. The Warlock explodes and gore is everywhere. Well, he died in a mildly awesome way.
So I was walking home with a friend and we talked about books for a bit and I realized how awesome it would be to write a story about a Daemon Hunter. You know, like Van Hellsing. So I've decided to finish reading Genevieve and then move onto Dracula. I mean how else will I be able to write about killing vampires if I haven't read about the original vampire. Oh, no. I will not pull a you know who. Why? Because I'm better than that. I know when not to ruin something perfect. Vampires were perfect. They had everything going for them until some people decided that teenage romance totally needed vampires. Then it was ruined. I will stay true to the original. I will make my vampires as close to Vlad as possible.
Okay, I had a little rant there, but no biggy. I'm going to research the subject of daemons and all the others before writing about them. How can one right about what they do not know? By the way, if you're reading my journal and are a Twilight fan. Well let's just say this is not a safe place to be if the paragraph above didn't clue you in. I am a proud supporter of real vampires.
I'm pretty sure no one, save for my friends, actually read this . . . Oh well! At least I get this ranting out. I do so love to rant. twisted
Now, I have important research to get to. Also, I'm making dinner tonight. Let's hope I don't burn everything again. 4laugh
Farewell my friends and good luck!

And there will I keep you forever,
Yes, forever and a day,
Till the walls shall crumble to ruin,
And moulder in dust away!
