volcanos- you may learn something... Deep within Earth temperatures are hot enough to melt certain rocks, transforming them into magma. Since magma is lighter than the surrounding rocks, it rises and collects in magma chambers. When this collected magma pushes through vents and fissures in Earth's surface, a volcano occurs.
