This is about snow. Lots of snow, actually. It's been snowing here since, umm... Last weekend, I think. But until now it was just a couple of snow flakes that wouldn't last too long. Last night, however, the city disappeared under a thick white blanket and it's COLD here! I'm actually glad to not have a thermometer here for once. All I know is that I'd better put on a couple layers of clothes and some gloves and a scarf so I won't freeze to death. But the snow is pretty! I haven't seen that much snow in forever! It's about 12 inches, and there's more coming.

My family will come see me next Tuesday! Wheeeee! Can't wait! They'll give me a microwave oven and a new blanket and pillow for Christmas, which is great! heart Also, I'll have a friend move in with me in January and stay until mid-February so she won't flunk her finals. The place she lives in now is so horrible! Teeny-tiny rooms and a club in the basement. For some strange reason some college students like to party really hard around the time when everyone is having finals, so last year she wasn't able to take a bunch of those because she just didn't catch any good night sleep the night before. Which is awful! I feel so bad for her - she lost her mom in spring and couldn't go on with college because of that. So now she'll spend Christmas on some caribic island with the rest of her family I think, which is awesome. I really wished I could help her get over this better, but all I can do for now is help her pass the finals, I guess. I miss her already, she's such a sweetheart! I really want her to pass and go on being a study buddy. My other friend lives just a couple of minutes from here. She'll see me every now and then around Christmas so we can finish some of our projects. She's a lot of fun to hang out with and she was actually the one who helped me out with painting this room here. She just knows so much about how to decorate, it's great! And well, I found myself a chruch of young college students and I'm already part of the bunch. I love my Wednesday nights! biggrin We're having so much fun together, only bad part of that is the fact that I always hang out with them until before midnight even though I have to get back up at 6 the next morning, aww! But it's well worth it. We're always having so much fun together! Man, my friends are so amazing! heart
