Nightmares have taken possession of the forest's dreams. Cats of all Clans have dissappeared, vanished, without a trace. Shadowbolt knows that evil is afoot, something from the Place of No Stars has landed on the Gathering Island. More cats' bodies are found, drowned in their own blood, with each passing moon. Only the medicine cats have the power through StarClan to rid the land of this evil. But can they banish it before all the cats are murdered?
