Aikyan Disorder
Welcome to my journal! Please feel free to post, and don't listen to anything FFWB might tell you.
A fleeting glimpse of life...
The man shook his head, obviously annoyed, but still spoke in a soft voice, "It's not like that... Everything you could ever desire is in there. You simply have to... clean up a bit. Of course, you won't be able to do it alone. You'll need everyone's help."
The girl bit her lip and spoke through her teeth, "Everyone?"
The man turned to look at the horizon, and produced a small book from his coat pocket which he held as if it were the most precious possesion in the world.
"Yes, everyone," He finally answered, still gazing off into the darkening sky, "But don't worry. Some are already there. Others will come soon. Just be careful. Once you go in, it may be easy to forget why you came, to make the place worse than it was before."
"I understand," The girl spoke with a depressed drop of her head, "Then I suppose I ought to start now."
The man nodded his same solemn smile and pulled back the curtain to reveal vast piles of tarnished gold, glorious meals, simply uncooked, the most astounding technologies in desperate need of repair, the most beautiful scenes, tarnished by the presence of pollutants. The girl took a step forward, and just as she took a polishing cloth to a chunk of gold, she was gone.

Life is short. For some it's even shorter. Now, this isn't necesarrily bad considering that we were likely placed here by higher powers to punish us for our misdeeds, but consider that most people spend their life doing more harm than good, if any good at all. Finally, when you get around to accomplishing something for a good cause, you're taken from the Earth. Why, I wonder? Is it just coincidence, or is it because others don't want the mess we've already created to be cleaned up? Humans sure like to roll in their own filth... And then complain about. Maybe we were better off back in the caves... Or the trees... Then again, some people think even the trees were a bad move and that we should never have left the oceans... Another prime example. Douglas Adams was a great author, and accomplished much while he was here, but look what little good its done. He was taken before finishing his series. Few people even understand his books, much less read them. Others consider them a... different outlook on life, cynical and unnecesarry. Well, news for ya people, life is a load of icatan and you mine as well get used to it now because there won't be time for it later.

While I'm on it, humans are not above everything else. If anything, we're on par with other animals who have other abilities greater than ours. Should we use our intellect to mock those who have less? They don't use their abilities to harm us or work us to their designs. Also, they've never invented war or pollution. They're not stupid enough to introduce drugs into their bodies. They never thought blood or sex was a viable form of entertainment, and then point fingers at one another when they got caught. We did.

Jesus was from the middle east. Bethlehem to be exact. He's not white. He's not really black either. He was Arabic.

War is always unnecesarry. Although personal defense is viable, we don't need to destroy the opponent if we can defend ourselves. The best offense is a good defense. That aside, all fighting would be unnecesarry if we as a rae would stop being so greedy.

Those weakest in the ir faiths are the most evangelical, with the exception of a handful of people out trying (and failing) to save the world.

There's more I know i haven't covered, but I can't think of it now... I'm done pointing fingers for the time being. Feel free to point fingers at me if you like, for all the good it'll do, oh, one last thing, one of chickens died the other day... I had to take her and put her in the trash today. This journal entry is a product of the depression caused by that and depressing music.

Actually, I wouldn't put humans on the same map as other animals. We have a brain, but how many of us actually use it. Animals exist in the wild just fine, but throw us out there naked and unarmed and I think we would be somewhere at the bottom of the food chain (right under the predators). I can definately see a lion having me for a snack. Not to mention I doubt we would survive the weather without our precious electricty and what not. And lets not even think about all of the bacteria, viruses and other stuff that wild animals can cope with. Maybe way back when, we had insticts, but I'm sure they're far gone now. Sure, we have the brain to build a roof over our head and to go hunting for something to eat, but I can't see the outcome being any different from what it is today. Most agreed on the other stuff too.
