Woke up late again today. Ended up playing that new Kingdom Hearts DS game.
For the record, it's not bad, but it's definitely not a good-good game. I think maybe even 2 was better, and that one wasn't a good game either x ox Just "fun" to play for the most part, until it becomes repetitive. The first one was amazing. I'm glad they made that one. Maybe I should replay it after this...and LoD. Still got a long way on that one. For the most part, I'm basically playing missions where I have to kill heartless, or collect stuff. For almost every mission, a day or a couple of days passes. I think I'm at like 50-something. Game starts at 101 days before the number on the title. Something like that. It's just Roxas telling his story...Who the Hell is Xion?
I get Namine...sort of. But what the hell. I wont describe her for the sake of not spoiling it to whomever reads it. I know I have friends who play the series, and random people, which I doubt would read this may just probably play as well.
Well, what's got me going in the game is the story. Not that its great - it actually sucks arse that I know the fate of the main characters, so I never have that anticipation, like "oh, Axel's gonna die soon !" and the like - I can't really feel for the characters. No offense to Nomura, but I'm really hating on the character designs for most of the Organization's members. x ox Over-did the spiky and long hairs. Originality? It does keep to a style, but I can't find something that would make the members stand out to me individually. Marluxia maybe. LoL Pink hair - though I tell you, they use a light brown hue in Chain. D: Don't judge my color coordination.
For the most part, light brown hair with a pink glow.

:] Thom's birthday was a few days ago. He recently came back from the army, at last x ox
So we had our first double date with him-kitty me-russell since he left early last winter. Russ had work in the morning, so the date was later in the day - Picked him up first, since I assume he very much wanted a change of clothes, and at around 5-6? they came for me.
I dressed really funky today. Gotta fix the pants ;o *awesome socks* Played around with the outfit for a bit, see how it looked. Ate, and took off as soon as they came.
Thom drove us up to the airforce base on Nellis - first time for me - and took us to the Bowling place they got in there. It was $2.50 a person. Be it adult or child. I like that price . ^ .
Total was like 15 for me and russ + the shoes.

JukeBox. A digital one. Was hooked up to the whole building. Discovered it when Russ had it play Haddaway - What is Love /swt
So we messed with it and played some other songs. Queen, Cher, Rick Astley, Bare Naked Ladies, some other awesomeness.
So we played 2 games. Thom one first place, Russ was second, by 1 point.
I did much better than I'd though. Hit a strike on the first game. Second game, Thom also won. I think I got second place? I hit another strike. Did much better this round. Russ failed that round...at an epic proportion.

We were hungry, and curly fries wasn't enough, so we went out for some Olive Garden. Had my usual. Just bought one meal and shared it with Russ - since he can live off salad, unlike me. Kitty and Thom did the same. Played some Scribblenauts, KH-Roxas thing and Dissidia.../shame on us.
Food was good. Not as good as the Henderson Olive Garden, but alright it was.

After the meal, and a forged ruby signature -dammit russ!- we took off to Russell's place. His parents are out having fun at the Excalibur, so there was no Russ Senior marking territory over the living room TVs /lol
Kitty was falling asleep, so it was Russ, Thom and I at it in Halo 3.
I actually didn't do as badly as I expected ^ ^;;
Still need to get my hands on a copy of 3. Kinda late :<
Zombie mode is friggen awesome xD lolol.
And so the day ended.
There's talk of hanging out soon. Too bad we can't do the Renaissance fair together.
They've already bought tickets for saturday anyways. We'll probably end up going on sunday morning or sometime before Russ works that day.
