The first thing i remember is someone calling my name...
i didn't know who it was so i ignored the call
louder and louder it wouldn't stop
until i gave up and saw who it was
it was the ghoul of my life
attacking me with ease
i tried to shake it off but
it refused to cease.
I screamed at the top of my lungs
but all that came out was a whisper
a whisper that wouldn't be heard.
it clawed at me
reminded me just how ******** up i really am
it launched itself inside of me and
ate me alive from the inside out
i tried to resist the temptation to give up
the temptation to not fight back
the temptation to let it kill me
but instead it came back out
leaving me more than half empty
with nothing to think about but the pain
i don't know where the ghoul went
but i know it will be back
and when it comes,
may it free me from this pain I'm in.
