As you know from Heavy Combat Frame Meisters, I've pretty much taken a bit of a spin on the Mecha Musume genre with the concept of the "Boy Witch". So far, looking at Chris Asimov and future characters that fit into that category, they all seem to share the qualities of being artificially created, having magic capabilities that out-do their female counterparts, and are not likely "stable". I figured I'd look back and revamp an earlier version of the "Boy Witch" that I might introduce much later on.
Boy Witch Concept: Kyle Eisenritter
Gender: Male
Age: 13 (Going on 14)
Nationality: German-American
Appearance: Dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, easily mistaken for Erica Hartmann in a U.S.A.F. uniform (lol, shota briefs for the o.O-ness); Looks every bit the bishy shota that makes him a magnet for shota-loving females everywhere; Gains the ears and tail of a tiger when using his Striker Units.
Magic and other Capabilities: Asides from the strength to carry the excessively heavy weapons loadout he uses, Kyle is also capable of casting his shots with elemental spells, utilized to devestating effect with his Trenchgun, Striker Unit-mounted Miniguns, and Vulcan Gun. Despite this, Kyle doesn't necessarily prefer one elemental buff over the other and thus he will cast his shots with random elemental attributes.
Weapons
- Based off of a mix of the AC-130E Pave Aegis and AC-130A Surprise Package, just like his Striker Units.
- 1x M1897 Trenchgun: Slung over his shoulder, carried right-handed during use. Primary weapon.
- 1x Bunker Knife: An oversized combat Knife with a revolver-like chamber built into the hilt in a hand guard-like configuration. Inspired by the Alt Eisen's Revolver Stake as seen in SRW Impact and the Original Generation series.
- 2x M134 Minigun: Mounted on the sides of his Striker Units.
- 1x M61 Vulcan: Carried via a special backpack mount; Actual weapon held left-handed style during use. Normally too heavy for other Witches to use save the exceptionally strong Gertrud Barkhorn.
- 1x Combination 40mm L/60 Bofors Cannon + 105mm M102 Howitzer Package: Must be deployed remotely; Wielded in a similar fashion to the Hyaku Shiki's Mega Bazooka Launcher in Zeta Gundam or the Huckebein's Black Hole Gun in various SRW games as the weapon is discarded after using up all shots.
Background Info: Graduating from the same training academy as fellow comrade Katherine O' Hare, Kyle Eisenritter is an American-born German boy with an unusually high aptitude for magic. Unlike his friend, the shota Witch is well-versed in various tactics but is most proficient in air-to-ground combat making him a prime candidate for testing the prototype AC-130 Gunship Striker Unit Package.
Kyle was transferred to the 501st after his old unit was wiped out by Neo-Soviet terrorists. He adamantly refuses to talk about it and any attempts to push him into talking about the issue only makes the shota Witch angry. As a result, he has very few friends in the unit, preferring to be by himself most of the time despite attempts by literally everyone in the unit to get closer to him. Out of all the girls in the unit, Gertrud Barkhorn is the only one Kyle considers to be a real friend as they both had experienced personal losses, with the shota Witch wondering how Trude manages to cope with the loss of her younger sister so well (Gertrud thinks the opposite, believing Kyle is dealing with the loss of his unit better than she is with her own loss).
Combat-wise, Kyle Eisenritter specializes in heavy weapons usage like Gertrud Barkhorn, but unlike Trude, Kyle's combat tactics place him at medium-to-close range. This is rather unusual for his weapons loadout since he uses what are normally air-to-ground support weapons for a role best described as "breaking through enemy lines with maximum firepower at close range." The shota Witch does this very well, having been credited for taking down fifteen Neuroi-infected Witches in the middle of the Baltic Sea within just a single battle.
Trivia
- Kyle Eisenritter differs from other such characters around his age in the fact that asides from his high aptitude for using magic, he is a normal human being as opposed to Combi Radclife, who was artificially created. He also continues the tradition of the Boy Witch concept--a shota magic user of unusually high power whom outperforms other average Witches but tends to show signs of mental instability from his inability to fully control it, said signs usually in the form of rage-filled ruthlessness during battle almost akin to an emotionless killing machine.
- Unlike the other Witches, Kyle is not based on any one ace pilot from either of the World Wars. His surname, Eisenritter, are derived from the two mechs of Kyosuke Nanbu and Excellen Browning--the Alt Eisen and Weissritter. On top of that, his combat tactics tend to mirror that of Kyosuke Nanbu, all the way down to a Trump Card-styled attack manuever using his Trenchgun, Striker Unit-mounted Minigun, Vulcan, and Bunker Knife in an ammo dump of an overkill manuever.
- Also notable is that his Striker Units are based off of a post-WWII design as opposed to the WWII designs of the other members of the 501st.
