Here it is the feelings back
That cold idle emotion
That feeling where you just know
You just know you can't do anything

How sad it is
This thing called regret
I couldn't help her
let alone myself

How horrid I was
To forget
She was the one who cared for me
The one who raised me

Then to fall ill and hardly pay her mind
how terrible I must be
attached to my self
A narcissist

FOR SHAME

She is gone
there is no way to make up for it
for what i've done
to have so few memories

Though there are some
I feel as if there should be more
now there can be no more
but I am being selfish again

~I love you mom and I will remember the good times we've had.
