I'm convinced I've used that as a header before, but the floater suggestion thing wasn't coming down... o.O?
anyways. Bonfire last night, open house the night before.
Open house was relatively boring (lol Gabi was still looking at her classes with her Chinese foreign exchange student sister and the rest of her family was sitting in the parking lot waiting for her to get back with the keys. Katie was so cute- she said "Where's my sister?"... ), thought it was funny how all of the girls were drooling over the new science teacher. and I don't even have him this year HA. xD
I'ma gonna like my classes this year. heart no phy ed, no miserable teacher that I don't like, no SUBJECT that I don't like, either... woot. x]
the phrase of the week is "Jeepers!!"
Gotta work tonight. actually this afternoon into tonight. Last time I worked a Friday we ended up quitting at 9:30... rolleyes Usually it's around 8 or 8:30. haha...
Mother is whining. She wants us to clean. I have been, but she insists I haven't. Yesterday I unpacked from the state fair, put my suitcase away, cleaned off the kitchen counters, swept, and cleaned the spatters of dog blood off of the kitchen floor with a Magic Eraser. Today I packed up all my stuff for school.
OH and speaking of the state fair: We found out yesterday that the Ambies and the Arts-In people and the 2nd encampment people were all sent home. Why? Because some kids had confirmed cases of H1N1, and there were like a 120 sick overall. 17 arts-in/ambies had already gone home sick...
I'm thinking they'll continue the rest of the encampments, but they have to go to the nurse twice a day to get checked out. If they show ANY symptoms of being ill with the flu or the like, they're being sent home IMMEDIATELY. o.o~ (like they get put in an isolated area while the parents come down and get them.)
They'll do the same thing at school. Beth V. (she's a para at school) told mom that if any kids show symptoms of being sick, they'll be sent home immediately. Awesome~ xP
DJ has H1N1. o.o Karen's going into Willmar today to get tested, too. biggrin
As for me, I'm healthy as can be, and I've been washing my hands like a maniac lol. (bro has strep, Karen either has that or h1n1... oh sweet day I'm happy I'm still well~ rofl )
Oh yeah... the bonfire. x] 'twas quite fun. I had Shioko and D Children over, and Karen had Courtney (she's been over since Tuesday, and she's going home sometime this afternoon), Elliot, Jake, and Gerdes over.
Jeepers Jake got tall (& skinny o.o). And all three of their voices are deeper. xD
... hm. Gotta leave a las 3, and it takes half an hour to get completely ready (I'm still in my pjs haha). Guess that means I'd better get moving...
