Chapter 1

As I sat down on a rock close to the edge of the lake, the soft breeze of approaching summer felt cold against my pale skin. I wrapped my scarf around my neck tighter and hugged my knees to my chest since i had forgotten a sweater. I breathed warm air into my fingerless glove covered hands. My thoughts were around why i was told to meet here knowing that the water made things so much colder to me. Finally i heard some form of life behind me and get up and slipped a knife into my hand but hid it from who ever was behind me. "Who is there?" Still no reply so I turned to see only a small little baby red tail fox. It walked over to me and I picked it up and held it close to me seeing it was shaking cold. "Its alright little one. No one will harm you as long as you are with me."
"Your always sweet when it comes to nature. Arent you, Mila?" I turned around to see a man with black hair and green eyes no more then 5'7 ft wearing jeans that were slightly baggy and a open blue sweater showing his black long sleeve shirt. He staired at me and I staired back at him but then smiled and giggled while putting the little fox down gently making sure it wouldnt get hurt.
"Why did you want me to meet you here if you know that if I ever saw you again I wouldnt hessetate to kill you. Are you truely this stupid to where you would put your own life in complete danger just go give me some information?" My eyes turn red with hate and my black hair untied from the ribbon i had put in my hair. For years I was cursed with killing people I disliked because I was blood thirsty. When my mother was killed by the goddess Chaos she spaired me but cursed me to forever be blood thirsty till the day I meet her again or the day i met the goddess Arisa. Arisa was the goddess of time and she would be able to take it away but according to legends Chaos captured her and is holding her prisoner.
"Calm down, Mila. You dont need to kill me, yet. I came here to tell you about where maybe Chaos is hidding. Supposable there have been weird radiations coming from the deep parts of the Indian Ocean. They say there maybe a underwater cavern down there where all the radiations are coming from. I can take you there since I already got plan tickets to India. You in or not? I got my own score to settle with Chaos," his eyes went from green to red in a instant. We were enemies only because we both wanted to kill Chaos for what she did to us. She killed my mother and she killed his little sister.
"Fine. You can come over tonight as long as you dont pull anything. We got a deal Lucas? You can stay with me as long as it takes until we kill Chaos. But dont kill my pets!" he nodded his head in agreement and we started walking to my place. We both lived in the woods away from civilization. Only time we encountered normal people was at school and where we worked at. The little tiny fox followed and ran ahead of me and waited every few miles. We finally made it to a wooden brick house with a large yard with a iron fence that made sure nothin got in or out. I unlocked the gate and let the fox and Lucas in before entering myself and closing the gate. When I locked it we both went into the house and immediatly my little Yorky Silky Terrior ran over and started barking at Lucas. The fox ran behind me and I laughed.
"Its alright little one she isnt barking at you. Only the man next to me," I smiled and the little fox ran off to play with a white fox I had founded a few days before outside the gate wounded. She is back to health which was good. I went upstairs and showed Lucas where he would be sleeping till we ended this war with Chaos.
It was already dark and I locked the door to his bedroom which has a built in bathroom. I went to my room and locked my door so I could change and get ready for a hopefully peaceful sleep. I put the usual spell on the windows all over the house so they wouldnt break or anythin bad to happen to the house. I layed in bed and started to drift off into sleep hoping once and for all I would end this war.
