I stepped out on the road.

Chapter 2

I used my phone as a flash light as I walked on the shadowed roads. No cars passed, and there was hardly any lights on the road. I wasn't on Ketterman Road yet, but I was close. I was... scared. Well, I wasn't exactly scared. I was just creeped out by that feeling in my stomach. But, I kept on walking, and when I was on Ketterman, I texted Skylar ( my best friend) and then I texted Jason ( My boyfriend). I asked them both where they were. Both of them didn't text back.

I was getting scared like, really scared. And for no reason! I shook my head and looked around. I shook my head and laughed.

" He blew me off." I laughed. " I should have known! I knew he was going to do this to me one day. Ha! Oh my God!" I turned around and started walking towards the way home.

That's when I heard the screaming.

I turned really quick, thinking it was behind me. And as soon as I saw what was there, I regretted saying what I did.

There in front of me, was Jason, all bloody, and screaming at the top of his lungs. I couldn't pick up what he was screaming.

I thought I heard him say, 'run, run,'. So I did run. I turned and ran as fast as I could, until someone held out their arm and clotheslined me. Then everything went black, and I died.

I woke up and everything was black. I couldn't see anything. I got up and stumbled around. Is this Hell? If it was...These blue/silver lights all of the sudden turned on. I saw that I was in one of those cages you gorillas in at the zoo. There was hay laying on the bottom of the cage. I looked around. And I saw a man in front of the cage.

" OH! You have to help me! Get me out of here!" I got in my knees and grabbed the bars and smashed my face up against them. " Please!"

" Okay! I'll let you out, I have the keys!" The man shook the keys in his hand. He unlocked the cage door. " The door is that way." He pointed towards the right. I just ran. I didn't think about anything but running.

Just when I thought I was free, I ran into a wall. A hard one at that. But when I rolled over, I saw that man walk up and close the door to th cage that I was in.

It wasn't a gorilla cage. This cage had three walls, and a cage door. There was still hay at the bottom, and there was a pillow.

" You're so stupid! Of course I wouldn't let you out! I'm going to kill you. Tsk." The man shook his head and left out of sight. I looked down and stared to cry. But then I scrame because of what I saw. Jason, was laying there. His mouth was taped closed, and apparently, there was a wash cloth in his mouth.

I sobbed.

" Hey, quit the crying, and get up 2 eat your dinner!" That man shoved a tray of food in the cage. I crawled up to it. But, I Shook my head and stud up. The tray had chicken, potatoes, maggots, and milk. I picked up the tray and threw it at the mysterious man. He turned and unlocked the cage.

He grabbed my hair and pulled me out of the cage. I kicked and punched, but i did no damage at all.
