OMG, I went to the city today to go grocery shopping. Skibs was supposed to come along too but her phone was out of service so I couldn't contact her since we never had a particular meet-up time.
So yea.
I went to Kino around 10:20am only to realise that it wasn't going to open till 11:00am or so due to Christmas holidays having less staff and what-not.
So I went to visit Basic Skills Education book store. Unfortunately, it wasn't open either till 11:00am so the elevator to level 3 didn't work. Very annoying.
So I then went to the cinema to check out on the times for Narnia.
I'll probably go watch Fun with d**k & Jane, or maybe King Kong (though I'd rather get some comedy into my system).
Yea.
I went back to Kino, but still couldn't find Skibs. I then tried finding City Hunter but as always with anything which isn't on George St., I got lost and ended up not finding it.
So...then I went to Market City's IGA so get some stuff. Only two packets of Chinese Preserved Vegetables, some Ice Tea and pocky.
Then decided to go watch Narnia. 10min into the film and it was still ads so I didn't have to wait too long even though I was 'late'. I went in the front section though, on the side so the view wasn't as great and the little girl's screaming and sobbing got REALLY annoying.
The problem with the film is that it was targeting children and didn't want them to feel scared or anything. That's the problem. Hardly ANY fighting at all, and the storyline was just all weird.
They packed too much into the film. Far too much.
So overall besides the graphics, I wasn't that impressed.
It did touch my heart a bit, but that's probably because I've been growing a bit soft lately.
And been in Life Issues a lot.
I watched SOOOO much TV today. OMG! Did I watch TV or what! I didn't even know that I had watched all the way to 1:30am!!! xD
