Yes I know, it looks a bit scary for all you people that have no interest in reading. But it's actually not that long, I was just told to double space by some people. So please read and tell me what you think! ^_^
Song of the Stars
Prologue:
Long ago there was a long and terrible war, between the humans and the
beasts. The humans had their wisdom and the beasts had their savagery. Both
sides had lost many in the war and many were about to be lost. The earth was
scarred and bloody. The sky was crimson. Yet the war went on unquestioned.
There was no sign of relenting from either side.
One cold, dark morning something happened in the middle of a battle.
A star fell from the sky. Each side believed it was to defeat the other side; each
side had gods of the night sky. But right before it was to hit the ground it stopped
a few feet above the ground. It was neither a beast nor human, neither a shadow
nor light. It was in between, never swaying to a side. The fighting stopped all
looked up at the being. Everything was silent and unmoving. The being pointed at
three from each side of the battlefield, they gathered at the spot under the being.
He moved his hands in a circular motion and the seven of them disappeared.
The chosen and the star being appeared in building that looked as if
ancient and modern times converged. Just like the star being himself, there was
no bias of opposing forces. He led the chosen to a room. It had a few chairs,
nothing too ornate and nothing too plain. The beasts and the humans looked at
the other side with glares of hate, if not for the star being, they would already be
at each other?s throats.
The star being told them to sit down. The sides sat down on opposing sides of a
long table. It was hard enough to be in the same room with the room with the
enemy, but to sit down with them? The long standing feud had burned hate and
contempt in their hearts. Neither side believed that their enemies had morals, or
even a soul. The feud had broken any chance of advancement just keeping them
in an unending circle of death and war. The star being knew this; he was after all
the god of judgment. He knew the war had to stop. If it didn?t, well?he didn?t
want to dwell on that. Not even he knew what would happen and that was too
much of burden for a god to bear.
?I have gathered you here in my home for one reason, we must end the
war. You have sacrificed and killed too much of your earth to believe this war is
truly meaningful,? the star being paused, he stared at them. It was a stare of
reason and a tinge of disappointment. ?You must realize that this war is fruitless.
There is nothing to gain, you must see this and if you do not?then the world of
knowledge and the earth is truly lost.? He gave them another hard look, as if
sizing them, as if wondering if they could truly change. The curse of the gods was
that they couldn?t change ideals, just influence them. This feud was so old and the
wounds went so deep.
The first one to talk was one of the humans. He was the king of the kingdom
of Sinar Armun. When he was made the king he gained the memories of the past
kings, that was how humans retained their ideals. ?We have been fighting for so
long. Am I expected to just stop after all these years? I watched my little son die
during a raid. What can be offered that can equal the loss?? As the king said this
his eyes were mixed with sadness, pain, and furious anger. The other humans
just nodded and looked at their beloved king. The dead prince had been a prodigy
and was expected to be a great warrior; the death had been a great loss for the
whole kingdom. The star being stayed silent, and nodded.
The next to speak was the beast king from the kingdom of Shiv Ta?Rak.
The beasts had the ability to assume human form as well as the form of their
selected animal. His form was normally the fearsome lion, king of all beasts. His
voice had an undertone of a growl. ?I can?t believe you! You spineless human!
You think that my kingdom hasn?t lost anything? I lost my beloved wife at the
hands of your weapons! You! You?? he stopped he looked at the king and he
wept. ?I love her, and now she?s gone?she?s gone?? The kings looked at each
other with anger and then it changed to sadness. The tears flowed like a river that
had been dammed that had just broken through. The others wept too. For the
first time since the beginning of the war there was peace, if just for the moment.
The star being also wept in joy on the inside; it was possible to save the earth, the
tears proved it. On the outside he smiled.
The star being stood up. ?Now go back to your homes and tell the story
that happened here.? He made a sweeping motion with his hand and they
appeared in their capitals. They spread news of the meeting with the star being.
Many were reluctant to believe, but they followed their kings because they
believed in them. The fighting soon stopped, peace flew over the land like a bird
that had been caged and set free out of love.
The two races wanted to solidify the great peace so they built a shrine.
They placed within it a great statue of the star being. The ones that saw him tried
to describe him but it was too great for a mortal mind. So they gave him the form
of a man with the wings of an eagle. In his right hand they put a mighty sword of
the ancient beast king, a treasure to all beasts. In his left hand they placed the
shield of the first human king, a treasure to all humans. They hoped by placing
their treasures there, there would be eternal peace and the star being would bless
and watch over them.
The star being did bless them and the two cultures eventually became
one. The eternal peace did come. The old feud died and prosperity came over
the earth like a giant wave.

Eternal Song: Songs of Saint Lullaby
I guess it's just going to be doodles until I have something meaningful to say. I might put some stories in I suppose.
