I ended up finishing this anime a couple of days ago. I heard of this anime through the anime convention here in boston. I heard of it like last year but this year I was reminded of it. Then I had a lot of time on my hand seeing that I tore my acl and menicus and coudnt do much. I watched it with my girl and it was a great anime. It follows the overall story of Romeo and Juliet, two people in love torn by their last names. Instead of a family feud, Romeos father killed Juliets family to end up being the Arch Duke of Neo Verona. Some of the people under the House of Capulet rescued Juliet and stayed hidden for 14 years. Romeo and Juliet meet then and fall instantly in love with each other and eventually they managed to get a huge revolution on to overthrow Montegue. In the end, Neo Verona, a city in the sky being held up by an ancient magical tree, Escalus, was in danger because Escalus was dying. In order for everyone to be saved, Juliet had to give her life up. Romeo fought Ophelia, the caretaker of the tree and managed to defeat her to rescue Juliet by at the risk of his life. Juliet still gave up her life in order to rescue the world, but also to join Romeo in death and they both were embedded in the tree.
