So, my gaia gallery is updated with my newest commission image, and also a copypasta'd message in all descriptions discouraging criticisms...which sounds kind of bitchy I guess, but seriously? If I wanted criticism on my work I'd look for it on an actual gallery site like dA or even y! and not here. While there is a gallery on gaia, it is not the focus of the site, and I hold no hopes that everyone surfing through it is a fabulous artist...or that even half the people are. With sites designed for the express purpose of putting art up, there is at least a better chance to come across someone who actually knows what they're talking about.

Honestly, the only pictures in my gaia gallery are pictures I've done for this shop. Before they switched over, I put some of my prints and other stuff that I spent WAY more effort on and that I was very proud of only to have them put down by random strangers, often in a very rude manner. This NEVER happens on a real gallery site. And why don't you take a look at some of the other crap in those galleries before you come rag on MY pictures, huh? I promise you, there is tons of stuff more worthy of your ridicule on this site.

But anyway, now it's just commission pictures, which are done and paid for, and most certainly not open for criticism! I don't want to hear that you don't like my style. Good for you. Obviously SOMEONE did, or they wouldn't have paid me to draw their avatar. Oh, and by the way, that means you don't get to complain at ME if you don't like one of the accessories on said avatar. Or about any other aspect of the picture so far as content goes. Do you not understand what the word "commission" means? And don't tell me how you think I should be drawing, or what you think I need to work on. Are you backing your suggestions up with examples of your own obviously more fabulous than mine art so I know you know what you're talking about? Or are you just commenting to get gold? Yeah. I thought so.

I know. I should just click that little box that disallows comments, but I don't want to. I don't mind comments for the most part, and I like it when people who actually put thought into it post. And I'm not even as mad at the dumb ones as it sounds here, basically I just roll my eyes at yet another person who posts before thinking because OMG GOLD!!!1 (PS are you aware there are tons more ways to get gold, most of which with a higher payout? And that don't require you to interact with anyone too! Look into it, then people won't have to interact with you so much!)

Um, anyway, before I got sidetracked. I'm really not as pissy about this as it sounds...I just like to rant sometimes. This is the internet, who doesn't? If any of this offended you feel free to just walk away, ignore me, and forget it ever happened...or you could send me a message bitching me out for being such a snob who can't take criticism and I can roll my eyes at you too before walking away and forgetting you ever happened...though not before ridiculing your inability to grasp the basic concepts of the English language, of course.
