Part 1: Formal
Yesterday was the "8th grade going into 9th grade formal". Weeks before the dance a couple of friends and me went shopping for dresses. We went to the mall and , of course we spent hours there. On the way out we had these giant green bags, white bags, and who knows what color bags in our hands. We stuff the bags into the truck and hop in the bed of the truck. Our hair was flying everywhere and we had a blast. As I was saying goodbye to my friends, we agreed to have our hair done by a friend of mine at my house. Weeks later, and its the last day of school and the day of the dance. Everyone is excited and jumpy. The bell rings and everyone screams. "Freshman, freshman! Do something crazy, do something crazy!" is all you hear. There are kids running wild tring to get to the exit first. Finally, everyone is out. My friends and I hope in the car and go to their house to get their dresses, shoes, ect. When we get to my house were laughing and all smiles. My friend shows up to do our hair. Im first sence its going to take the longest. An hour and a half later, my hair is done. I have curls everywhere and anytime I move it bounces. Next she does my friends hair. One of my friends hair is straight and flips out on the ends. My other friends hair has 2 braids and 2 bun like things. It looks much better then it sounds, trust me. We get dressed, put on our shoes, put our earings in, and put on all the rest of our jewlery. Now its time for pictures. About 20 minuets and 150 pictures later, were on our way to the dance.
