After I dropped Jennifer off at her bus stop, I went to the bakery to get some cake. I was just in the mood for cake, that's all. Before I got there, I saw a Mr. Softee truck.
"Can I have a vanilla milkshake please?" I really needed a milkshake.
"Sure thing kid! Four dollars please." He handed me the milkshake, and I gave him the four dollars. But damn... Four dollars?! Inflation is killing me. I really shouldn't drink milkshakes without supervision either. When I drink it too fast, which I always do, my stomach starts to feel sick. It's almost like the state of being drunk, but I know exactly what's going on. There have been times where I lost my balance while drinking it. Once I got there, I said hi to my friend Alex. She worked there. I saw that she was having some trouble with some dumb guy that was hitting on her, when she obviously didn't want to be hit on.
"Hey Alex, what's going on?"
"Oh Hi Luis! It's so great to see you here!"
"Kelvin, this is Luis." She held my hand when she said it.
"Oh hey Luis." He said with a frown on his face.
"Kelvin, Luis is my boyfriend." She looked at me and gave me a smile.
"Yeah that's right Kelvin." I smiled back.
"You're really hangin' out with this scronny little kid? You can do better than him. Let me take you out baby, just you and me." He really thought he was better than me? alrighty then.
"Hey that's pretty disrespectful man, leave my girlfriend alone alright?" At about this time, the milkshake was really getting into my system.
"What the hell do you think you're gonna do huh?" He got up and pushed me off my seat.
"Alright man, I'm about shove some Mr. Softee down you're throat."
I ran to him, but I lost my footing and fell on the floor.
"Ouch." That's all that came to mind when it happened. He flipped me over, then tried to stomp on my face, but my knife was in my hand while I was trying to run at him. I imagine you can guess what i did. I replaced my face with my knife. It went straight through his foot.
"AHHHHH!!!" He screamed. I took the knife out back slapped him into the counter, and kneed his face against it. My knife dripped precious rubies. His blood flowed from his mouth. He was starting to cry. I didn't see tears and blood... I saw beautiful crystals and precious rubies. Get out of here you sorry excuse for a player. He ran away and said some curse to me, I really didn't care.
"Well can I get a thank you?" I asked Alex with a smile on my face. We both laughed.
"Thanks Luis..." She kissed my cheek.
"Can I get an ice cream cake please? With chocolate chips seperating the vanilla and chocolate please?"
"Sure, that'll be six dollars." That was cheap. I decided to saty in the bakery and just speak with Alex. It was a nice day.
