NIGHT TIME

THe cool night wind blew in dylan's face as he waited. For what? he didn't know. all he knew was that he went here every night and waited. waited for someone or something but nothing came. He would stand on the tallest hcliff over looking the city with ease. Every night it was the same. Dylan would sit up there wait, watch all the city lights turn off as people fell into slumber.

He walked each night and at 12:00 he would leave. It was like he did it on instinct but he couldn't remember ever doing it before. He had a feeling something would come but he just had to wait. Wait nutil when? He asked himself that question ever night. wait until what? he might never know.

Dylan sighed as he looked out upon the city of lights. He just had the feeling nothing would happen but if something did he didn't want to miss it. Dyal would always get the urge to come up here and just sit and watch. The urge would become so bad that if he didn't come he couldn't stand doing anything else.

Dylan looked up into the deep dark night. Tonight would be a stormy one. he could tell. It was like he was phsycic(sp)

"so what are you doing up here?" A voice said from behind. Dylan spun around so fast that he got dizzy. Then he saw who it was.

"I am only watching the city close and the sky brighten, officer cherry." Dylan sighed. Officer cherry looked at him with suspision(sp)

"You know that no one is supposed to be out after 10:00 if they're your age, Matoc." Officer cherry said. Dylan sighed and nodded his head.

"I know that, but i can't leave. Not yet anyway." Dyaln said.

"why is that?"

"I don't know. I just can't go back until 12:00."

"Then you won't mind if I sit with you,will you" Officer cherry asked. Dylan shook his head.

"sure. It is fine with me. I have nothing better to do than wait so i might as well have company with will i do."

Officer cherry sat down in the cool grass of the cliff and looked up into the twilight.

"Storm's a comin' " Officer cherry said. Dylan just nodded his headin agreement.

Dyaln was only 17. He had never had a girlfriend and had always be considered "different" in other peoples terms. He never really had friends just those who came and went. He didn't like he life and the rest of his days were coming soon. He was planning on killilng himself. He had alays been an orphan. His parents gave up on him at birth. They never really wanted children was what he had heard. But he knew it was a lie. He had finally found files on his parents by hacking into federal government confendental files. He found out that a year later his parents had twwins and kept them. Then they had a third three years later and kept them too. they just didn't want him.

"Why aren't you at home talkin' with you girlfriend or somethin'?" Cherry asked.

(i am going to call officer cherry, cherry.)

"I don't have one. never have never will." Dylan sighed.

"why ain't you got yourself a girlfriend?" Cherry asked.

"'cause i have and always will be considered different." Dylan said.

"what's wrong with being a little different? I'm different but that ain't mean i ain't never had a boyfriend" Cherry said in her texan accent.

"I never have had friends either. Always have been an orphan. My parents didn't want me a birth and never will want me. If they have neglectad me for this long they aren't going to take me in now." Dylan explained. Cherry tilted her head as if in confusion.

"why that make ya different?" cherry asked.








well that is all i am going to write for now. I know it is a bad ending but i couldn't find where to stopp it.
